If I had the cash I would be tempted to try a to build streety mod. It would be interesting. Have been thinking about it this week...
around 1000 - 1010 wheelbase, It needs to be short and flicky.
Standard mod back end
tightish head angle, maybe even a bmx inspired 74.5 :)
lower rise stem, with standard risers (EA70s, etc)
and one thing I have been thinking of is 20" rear wheel, with a more 'normal' sized tyre in it
would be interesting

I use vees too, have done forever!
I run...
cane creek dc2 calipers (no noodles, which are the crappest thing about vees)
odyessy brake line cable
avid sd7 lever (XT are sweet too)
shimano xtr booster
heatsink translucent vee pads
on sun ryhno lite xl
this set up it awesome, the pads and great (see pad review topic) and has a solid feel and locks great. A lot if life magura users have been very impressed by it.
I really like the the fact that if anything goes wrong (rarely does), even the shittest bike shop will have cable, lever or something to get me going again
mike
editing was great and the riding was great to, nice to see some bails too
oh and it reminded to go and listen to 'trail of dead' because i forgot they were good (Y)

scatman john is awesome :)
I remember randomly watching pop idol when gareth gates was first on it and the woman judge said something like 'I managed a successful singer that made a gimmick of his stuttering' and I was like 'OMGZZZZ SCATMAN JOHN'
er.....pinned rims suck, welded are better! phew back on topic :)
i have the Alistair Whitton version, its pretty darn comfy actually, exept, when i put it on the bit before the ears seem to pressquite hard on the side of my head. I get used to it after halve an hour though

they are look fantastically gorgeous compared to the monty bmx's. :)
I think BMX does have places to go in terms of design, Matt Berringers bike has those crazy elevated/kinked chainstays and some flatland bikes have inline bar, stem and front hubs! I don't know much about bmx really, but its best not to rest of your laurels.
Imagine if trials had done that, there would be no 24"ers or no long ass bikes :) it would be crazy
mike
thats only temporary though , until he gets he sig model sorted. :) which will probably have rigid forks, proper seat, riser bars, short stem...but better geo.
I have one of those booster on my rear vee at the moment, its so old skool :P
got it on while my xtr booster is off doing other things  actually was suprised at the prformance, working realling well and as good as my xtr :)

p.s maybe if you can't be arsed getting allen key bolts, get some ones with the hex head so you can use a spanner. But if they are working, why bother changing
