A lot of money if we include trips, but just parts well... £435 leeson 609 £125 2nd Ashton ET £365 Ashton ET £300 ish PX Zebber £220 DMR Sidekick thats £1500 approx on frames and at least the same on parts... The thing is I don't care, I get so much enjoyment from riding :D better than being a waster and getting drunk all weekend mike

When you pull up onto the back wheel keep off the front brake, because that brings the front end down! Also a higher tire pressure helps as it rolls better! Mike

If my new bike isn't sorted I will be making a appearance on my heavy ass bmx crusier, with a video camera permanately attached to one hand! :P But hopefully it will sorted because i wanna ride :D mike

really I thought it was in wales... :D

I could never vote conservative, not after the state the country was in before labour got into power. Labour ok haven't done a great job, but have been alright and there mistakes have been huge ones. But i don't think Conservative would have done any better, they would have gone to war too...they did last time :D And they always claim to reduce taxes but increase spending! How? Plus i hate some of there ads too, in fact I hate all the main three party election adverts, all dissing eachother! I voted labour last time, but never really got what I voted for, which kinda puts them out the picture, wheres my referendum on europe? so that leaves either lib dem or one of the fringe parties, which most of the fringe parties being either stupid, too small or twats. Lib Dem well they have some decent policies, plus i dunno give them a chance see what they can do... mike

I f**king loved that :P :D i tink that style of editing would be great for and intro to a video :) mike p.s. thanks to lee for sending me it :P cheers bud

It was a good feature that had ashton, hawyes, matt & eddie tongue, ian cooper and some guy decked out in raleigh gear but didn't ride for them, can't remember his name  but Jamie Hibbard wrote it! They were just ragging it around porthcawl :P random facts but...meh!!
-
It wasn't my favorite NBR vid, but i still enjoyed it  good stuff
-
It is ti though! It was me that sent my tensile off to clive, no word yet! I gotta ring him his week! The tensile's are supernice cranks though, but obviously with there problems. You could get your middleburn bash machined down to fit a 20T chainring, that looks nice! Mike

yeah phils is a good video , especially if you like street! i think he rode bmx for a year or two and then came back to trials! Crazy spinny moves  Don't think he rides for anyone either! yeah i stuck this on before i rode last night along with a bit of road fools 13 and Lee's (mr koxx) TWP vid :P Mike

Who Feels They're Good Enough For A Challenge?
Brian Bleech replied to Krisboats's topic in Trials Chat
he was trying a backflip, but it was all part of eventually learning front flip drops! mike -
It will be fine, probably just needs trueing up again  but my sun rhyno lite xl is a great rim and its welded! A lot better than the DMR one I was using! It was a nicer rim to build up than my mates koxx rim too. Good Rims overall. Not cheesy either
-
wow something is happening :P I honestly thought that since chris and martin had both moved sponsers that it would have gone tits up. It would be really cool if it did come out  Also if some of the really retro hawyes and ashton footage from older mbuk roadtrips was released would be cool, because I know some guys at mbuk recorded it! mike

Who Feels They're Good Enough For A Challenge?
Brian Bleech replied to Krisboats's topic in Trials Chat
yeah i think its totally possible, just look how piss bmxers are backfliping now, matt beringer can backflip off anything (practically) and is pretty good at them front flips. I think front flip drop offs would be easier than backflip drops. Anyone remember old skool mbuk trickster Jez Avery doing a front flip off the edge of a peir. just pedalled along bunnyhop pushing donw ith his bars and pulling his arse end up :P easy as that :P :P  A few of us are going lakejumping in summer, could be one for then. mike -
he tried it on saturaday at the 2:30 demo, but fell off

I made this fatmike-esqe paint diagram to demostrate my point, but half way through making it, i realised you were right ali :P :P because the relative body position on the bike will be the same. so as the front wheel hit bump they are both just as likely to pitch the rider over the bars. could possible be a vinco in the pic  so what are we saying here that the head angle is realively unimportnant on a trials bike? mike

hahaha I am pretty healthy! I don't drink often, don't smoke, don't take drugs. I probably don't get enough sleep though. I drink way too much lucozade sport :P I have a good meal every lunch (cheap work canteen :P ) i struggle to eat good on the evening though because I will finish work and then go ride and only have time for a sandwich. Trying to eat more fruit, but still eat a world of chocolate and sweets I am healthier than all my friends who don't ride  but my body probably hurts more! mike
-
I see where your coming from and do agree, but i think I am looking from a different angle (this is gonna require a paint diagram  ) yeah its only some flatlanders that have the inline forks too i think, there was is one guy (i think he was german) you designed his flatland bike with straight forks, and inline (0 mm length) stem and bars and ran his brake levers pointing directly downwards so his bike would feel the same no matter which way his bars were mike

I don't smoke and I see it as a pointless habit, but i think that they should get free healthcare (for everybody). Its one thing I believe in, I hate the American system of having to have health insurance! If we were to ban smokers from getting free healthcare, it would then be people who drink, etc, etc! I don't have a problem with whatever people want to put into/do to there body, its just the fact that some guy/gal lights up a cigerette and it directly affects and harms me. Its like me cutting my arm with a knife (not that I do) and then running around everyone in a 3 metre vacinity and cutting them a small bit
