your working it out wrong! The way its worded is dodgy and not mathmatically correct. think about the 'actions' she would take... room = £30 thats the wrong price so she takes £5 back out of the till so room = £25 and keeps £2 for herself and gives guy 1 - £1 guy 2 - £1 guy 3 - £1 so we now have £25 in the till and (2+1+1+1=) £5 in the pockets of the woman and the three guys. Therefore 25 + 5 = 30 the thirty pounds is still there, its just wrong maths! mike
  4. you should be asking yourself 'which one rides nicer?' (Y) the alibongo does look very nice, but that don't mean shit if you don't like riding it!
  5. I used to spend so much money on cds, but now I can't afford that and to be honest I bought some shite cds too, just because I heard one song I liked or read a review and it sounded good! (I bought good ones too (Y) ). But downloading is good way to sample a band before you spash out your hard-earned cash. But what about downloading stuff you already own on cassette and vynal, is that illegal? (I do mostly that) Or what about stuff from bands that weren't popular to start with and its hard to find there stuff on cd? For example pre-cowboys from hell Pantera when they sounded like a cross betweem van halan and judas priest. You can't buy that stuff in shops and to buy on ebay it costs uber-£££. So downloading is the only way mike
  6. honey owns marmite. marmite is sick, as is nutella and peanut butter (Y) rum butter is rules all though mike
  7. re - smegging - diculous great stuff craig, some nice lines there too...
  8. yeah but D521's are deigned to be a light and strong rim, which can take a beating. which in turn makes them good for trials! riding in the snow :) just buy a sun doublewide and drill it :P
  9. that sounds spot on does that tim!!! good plan :)
  10. boon uses a dmr bashguard the fits onto 3 piece cranks and a normal mtb chainring, dunno what size. mike EDIT: dmr ring thing elite EDIT 2: i think the smallest 3 piece chainring you can get is a 25T
  11. its smashing - i acquired it ont interweb the other day (Y) and off to see it at cinema next week too :)
  12. nope the spring we normally take out, lets the mech move up and down so triple/double front chainring setups can be used. (Y)
  13. That sounds good Mr Atkinson, great plan. The rest day is good too, because it also give those that wanna ride, the chance to ride somewhere good (Y) BBQ is got to be had that day too, that would be cool! Mike
  14. Its gonna be awesome... ...and thats coming from a streeter (Y) which brits are riding there? Mike
  15. My old old ashton was probably the quietest bike in exsistance, it didn't make a sound. As for hubs, meh, as long as it works I don't care how loud it is really. My king is pretty quiet, but its fine and works great. i think its just because its so old.
  16. having the flu... ...in summer (Y) oh i hate air con too, I bet some b*****d has it somewhere else in the building and gave it to me!
  17. Are you sure you want it on the front. It will ride weird with an uber heavy front end! The steering would crap! Would it be better to do this to some bag of crap bike at least first! For an engine mount I would build a mount that would attach roughly like a front panier rack. Mounting points at the top of the fork and bottom of the legs. Drive - mod a front disk hub to have a drive wheel, instead of a disk on it...maybe
  18. I agree dude!! I will need a rest thats for sure, i'm old!! And rossi will need a rest too - what with his masturbaters wrist injury " mike
  19. double ditto (Y) its gonna be a good un :D
  20. It would be better if you used coloured plastice (Y) looks decent though
  21. Generally start off on lager or bitter, altho bitter is quite filling. and the onto spirits later on. Also the odd Apple Sour or something like that throughout the night too! The most evil drink in the world is a 'ghost train' - shot of JD, shot of Southern Comfort and a shot of Vodka with Lemonade! Evil - don't drink them in bradford
  22. or just there shoddy products in general :(" G.I race bars - 1 1/2 weeks before bending :D but it is interesting what they say about pinned versus welding, but meh I will stick to my rhyno lite xl and so should you :-
  23. I think the longest leeson will make is a 1055wb. I heard rumours of the curtis too, give them a ring and see what they say! You could always upgrade your pashley to the 25GHz, only clocks in at 1030ish, but is a very nice ride! The other option is to contact some other mtb frame builders and see what they say! (the like of Dave Yates and others, look in yellow pages or try google!) depends on the what steel you build it out of more than anything, but a decent steel frame won't weight much more than an alu frame. And steel ride much nicer (Y)
