  5. I am finding the odi longneck grips better than the ruffians in hot weather - they don't seem to get as sweaty. I think the sweat rolls down between the ribs or something. mike
  6. At the end of the day... your gonna go home with a either a car or a goat, so you can't lose
  7. we need a ghetto blaster or something to blast out tunes, when riding :)
  8. i wanna go (Y) but can't afford it - i gotta go on roadtrip and get drunk on sunset strip this summer :P hopefully next year mike
  9. if was a fly on tracks then the train would have to stop for it, because it might derail the train
  10. wouldn't the friction of the slinky and the slinky/esculator contact points eventually cause the to deccelerate and wouldn't be able to 'slink' downwards fast enough to counteract the upwards movement of the esculator. though this doesn't matter if you assume the slinky is frictionless and the slinky/esculator has a co-effiecent of zero mike
  11. It was chilled out street, maybe a bit too slow for me (Y) some very nice moves though - you have squeeker dialled too Mike
  12. get your sun shades on boys its gonna be a hot one (Y) and bring bottles of ice and stuff see you there mike
  13. Thanks for all the positive comments guys :) It was a great chilled out ride, despite us all baking in the sun and getting sunburnt (our own fault though). The glen is a great riding spot - its got a shop that sells bacon butties, ice cream, sweets, drinks, etc and there is also a pub. oh and rocks are good too. Mike

  18. I agree, science can't prove anything really. Just try to provide a rational explanation to it. Science thoeries have been disproven in the past and new explanations and ways of thinking have been discovered Actually science can prove some stuff (with experiments and stuff), there is just stuff out there that science can't provide a explanation for (yet)! I have really lost my train of thought as I had to come back to this... I have never seen a ghost, although my girlfriends old house was weird I used to hate walking around it at night. It just 'felt' like something wasn't right there. Was odd. I also think the human brain is very powerful and add things like tiredness and maybe peoples desire to see a 'ghost' or to see a dead relative. And it can explain lot of peoples experiences. But i wasn't there and I have never seen a ghost, so who am I to judge! Mike
  19. we didn't go :"> ^_^ missed the train and there wasn't one for two hrs, we are so lame. stumps - yeah we will have to get a ride on the go. I have ridden with jon quite a few time :- Oh and i may have ridden with you years ago, i had a blue px with king rear hub. mike
  20. for trials - aire valley > stif. I am not a fan of stif, mainly because some of the people that work there are complete knobs ^_^ most of them think trials is a shitty sport and think kings are too good to ride trials on and we should all ride shimanos :D but they are good mechanics :- and do know what they are doing. Aire Valley has (at least) three trials riders working there and are really friendly and its a cool shop. Mike
  21. (Y) yeah that is true
