  1. Yep, sometimes a bunnyhop is just easier. If the run up allows it, a bit of speed and a bunnyhop will carry you over an obstacle.
  2. Leeds Leeds Leeds or Bristol. Not Carlisle.
  3. Yeah dude, will have to organise something soon. Ah yeah I have tried 30mm and 40mm neither felt quite right, so I think 35mm will be perfect
  4. With those bars and having only rode my fixie for a few months, it feels like a riding a chopper. It is very nice having a tight chain, I can actually tell that my king has engagements points.
  5. Cheers dude, can't wait to start riding it properly. How many stackers did you run? Currently running 30mm, might give 40 a try though.
  6. Yeah the Rose is the stand out for me, then the giant if I can get a good deal on it.
  7. http://mpora.com/articles/bike-packs-away-backpack This is pretty cool, I hope they make it!
  8. My work is now part of the Halfords cycle2work scheme so I am looking to buy a road bike with it and basically I don't know much about roadies so looking for what people reccomend? It has to be under a £1000 as the halfords scheme won't let you overspend. So far looking at the Giant Defy 1 - http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/products/giant-defy-1-14 and Defy 2 -http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/products/giant-defy-2-14 the cheaper one still seems good and will give me some room to play with for helmet, shoes, etc. The Rose Pro SL 2000 - http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/products/bikes/road/road-bikes/pro-sl/ I really like the look of this, but unsure if it will be available on the scheme. The Boardman Team Carbon - http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/boardman-road-team-carbon-bike-2014 - seems to offer great value and good reviews, but it is bloody ugly and just can't see myself riding it!! Also, has anyone ysed the C2W scheme? Had any problems with it? Cheers.
  9. 17 years Univega Alpina 5.5, but a DMR Sidekick was my first 'trials' build. Manuals took ages to learn, always struggled with sidehops too.
  10. I can't make this as I am off to my Auntie's 60th Birthday party!!! It looks like it is going to be awesome, have a good one guys and I hope I get to see some good videos.
  11. Great riding and good video, I don't like helmetcam stuff and overall I didn't here, but I thought it worked really really well for the bar ride.
  12. Fantastic Flipp, your riding just gets better and better. The line is Bristol at 1:35 is a personal favourite. The usual great fliming/editing from Mark too, the music choice worked really well.
  13. That last line... oofff how do you even think to attempt that! The speed and size he is doing big technical lines is just fantastic now.
  14. Yeah those forks were beasts, he ran them for ages. Kept having to bend them back into shape.
  15. Sizes are (from left to right) 90mm * 25 90mm * 15 90mm * 10
  16. I have a few stems (70mm - 100mm long) laying around you can have one of them for postage too.
