hello :) I have a stem that one of the threads is completely stripped. I have a tap and die kit, but the last time I used it was a few years ago and I am forgetful.... The stem bolts are 4mm so do: a ) tap a 4mm thread b ) tap a 5mm thread (obvisously use a 5mm bolt) c ) drill out the hole to 5mm and tap it with a 5mm thread d ) drill out to 4.5mm and tap it with a 5mm thread any help would be great :) mike

as said in the otn topic that isn't a diamond back trials bike, just a street frame Aaron has set up for demos and riding about on. Hence the locked sus forks, proper seat and stuff.

if you are running tar in the wet, you may as well run an oil slick on your rims. It was raining pretty bad some of yesterday and the only problem i had was my front brake (smooth rim) didn't bite as much, still worked though! Mike

thats so true :P i am one of the oldest on forum, I have a full time job + plus a long term girlfriend. I ride my bike up, down, scross walls and stuff. I do it because its fun to me! Its escapism really, some people play computer games, some play an instrument, some are into films, drinking, etc, etc... i couldn't give a shit if its deemed as cool or anything. People enjoy different things, we enjoy riding our bikes!

I am like you! don have much motivation to ride on my own - i don't push myself or anything (which is the exact opposite of how i am like when riding in a group at the mo!) Infact when i ride by myself, I tend to just ride the curbs outside my house - because i can't be arsed going any further. :P so i just mess about trying different moves/tricks/combo's thinking of stuff to do when i next ride in a group. but yeah try and think 'outside the box' as try some new technique, instead of trying the biggest stuff mike
