the word nigger is used an offensive term toward black/dark skinned people, because of the meaning associated with it! to do with the slave trade and shizzle. the only time i have ever heard a black person call another nigger is in gangsta shit and wannabe gangsta (and early hiphop groups only used it to cause shock and outrage) Black guys don't go around clling each othere nigger all the time. yes but can you guess which one of those isn't used an deliberately offesnsive term to describe someone of a particular race, irrespective of which country they come from. anyhow thought we were talking about bikes, both have fairly similar geometry and both are meant to ride nice, so f**k it get the one you think looks best. If the wall/whatever is of major historical significance, then chances are we won't be riding on it anyhow. Where my parents live there are 3 castles within a 7 mile radius, only one of them is out of bounds for riding on. I would say I have got into more trouble for riding on crappy late 20th century lumbs of concrete, than riding on something that has been around for a few centuries, which is quite sad :) and all the old castles and stuff, are better built anyway hahaha and can take more!! But is kinda cool that something like an old ruin, can still be used today :)

I have two sets: some tsg neopene wrap around ones, which are similar to the lizard skins ones mention eariler. They are great pads and lasted years. They are good for the winter as they help keep you warm too :) I also have some of the cheapest fox knee/shin ones, which i have chopped the knee part off, these are a lot cooler in the warm weather :) mike

the echo pure is a trials frame, but the 1060 with a short stem, rides great for street :) don't make them any more thats why i said a 2nd hand one :) the zoot looks pretty good actually the geo looks decent. I think it comes with a trials bar on it, so put a decent riser bar on it and you will be away. front end looks quite low, so you may need a higher stem. mike

whats your current vee brake setup? a good start would be to clean your rim and make sure your pads hit nice and square on the rim. Also lube your cable
