this is a cool idea, gonna do this if my computer is fixed in time. mike
-
dunno really will - depends on the uni probably. I think most will look at your gcse results. but as long as you do well in the relavant a-levels for your course, then i can't see it being a problem. but some places won't let you into sixth college without english though... so i dunno not much help, it was so long ago

damon watson broke his and tehy are now being redisigned with different materials or something, so i would wait a while before getting one

How Many Of You Have Actually Hit A Twat(chav)
Brian Bleech replied to Davetrials's topic in Chit Chat
never had to much trouble from chavs only a few knobbers, most wanna just see me 'do a backflip' most of them just go away if you just stand up to them and don't look scared..haha there was that time in manc when guys came up to us (me,tim and rossi) and said 'if there wasn't cameras i nick your bike' just sorta looked at them and they went and that kid that tried to steal my bag in leeds, god he was about a 6 inches smaller than me and had to friends, one was a girl too. and there was another 7 of us, cocky b*****d! haha but i have never got punched, tim has, but kev drop kicked him.. -
that drop was nuts, he said he would have done it if the wall was flat on top, then kenny got his willy out... anyhow, watched the first 5 mins (my computer id dieing and keeps crashing ) and fook me awesomeness, love it! gonna watch the rest on my housemates pc tonight. thanks jonny, you should be proud of this beast... mike

my mate had a set of yiks, lasted him a couple of weeks, before some of the stitching came out and the soles were mostly worn in a month. he is getting ribo's soon. or get some bmx trainers!

trick wise i am into - 270 drop offs from back wheel - x-up/turn down drops - x-up drops to x-ed ride out - sidehop to smith - i accidentially did a sidehop to crooked on a rail the other night, was awesome - hooks to fakie, hit my head though so haven't done one for a couple of weeks. - sidehop to toboggan pedal stall on a bollard - skids also loving (just when i am bored) for half and hour or so going out in street and playing on the kerbs, just practising back wheel control, balance, pedal and braking - great fun and actually help with bigger stuff too

me und tim were talking about to ze koxx dayz last night, gotta sort out money though! can i ride my 24" there? or will i be told to piss off mike
-
this isn't a dig at you at all, but people (in general) seem to think that you can't ride trials on a 24" bike, its so weird i don't get it. my 24" bike is as good as (most) trials bikes of a few years. most people that ride 24" do have a big street side to there riding, but i have seen some great trials riding on 24" bikes to. hell damon sidehopped my leeson 4/5" above bar height first go. there are just like a really compact stock bike really, great for trials and great for street so get the damn zoot... mike

Information On Single Speed Hubs And A Set Of Handlebars
Brian Bleech replied to deadly venom's topic in Trials Chat
paul components are quality products imo - always wanted to crosstop brake and levers, they are cool. at the end of the day - a there isn't much to go wrong with a screw on hub - its just a shell, bearings and axle. either should do fine. mike -
I was wondering how tm2 was coming along and now its finished ... yay hope you get the problems sorted with uploading it soon dude, good luck!! mike

Information On Single Speed Hubs And A Set Of Handlebars
Brian Bleech replied to deadly venom's topic in Trials Chat
one of my mates runs those handlebars - (mr_kenny on here)! they are pretty good, seem/look strong and are comfy probably not the best bars for out and out trials, but if you ride with a streety edge, then they should be pretty good. mike -
really looking forward to this ride - hope my body is in working order, not been great recently think i need a new one...

What Do You Think Is Better?
Brian Bleech replied to Rob rides trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
most of the people in this thread need to go ride some proper natural...haha natural is awesome - its so challenging and no rock is the same. you don't even have to ride comps to enjoy. just the going somewhere and having a field of rocks in front of you and just trying to get up, down, across as many as possible. its ace with a few mates and a sunny summers day. just riding and pushing yourself. plus roll down rule on natty!! but... street is awesome - i tend to go bigger on street, but at the same time just totally more freestyle - spins and tricks. maybe i am just lucky and ride in one of the best street spots in the uk. but everything is game to ride on in street walls, rails, chains, bollards - just use your imagination and street is awesome. i love trying gaps and ups and stuff and just seeing how many ways i can do something and throwing in tricks and adding bits on that are totally 'unneccesary' . Street is as 'hard' as you want it to be really. last night we were trying this line that was ridiculous, a kicker into a five foot hook, but the 'wall' we were hooking was a four wall, with a foot and a bit high rail on top. we pretty much knew we could actually do the whole line, but it was fun just trying... anyhow yeah - just ride its ace mike -
sorry dude, i am away monday! but if anyone wants a ride on tuesday give us a bell (end).... mike

Has Anyone Used Any Tyres From The Geax Range?
Brian Bleech replied to mat hudson's topic in Trials Chat
the geax tires used to (perhaps still fo) have a mega high tpi bead thingy and you could run them higher pressure than normal tires and still get the same wrap mike -
sounds cool wayne give one of us a shout sometime

-

its was sunny and it snowed! was a great ride really, despite the hurting shoulder - did a few stuff i haven't done before! great meeting up with peeps i hadn't seen in ages. waynio's hook at uni was pppphhhhaaa-aaaatttt mike
-
the other two look good , but the rohloff one is a very nice piece of kit and is already proven mike

yeah maths is right, wrong phrase used really!! £100 is fair bit for parents, but is still cheap to me damn having a proper job with taxes and more taxes i got some simpsons deoderant and socks -that was funky!!
-
weird maths there dude - you still got a hundred quid i assume you work, so that a 100 squids from you next paycheque that won't have to go towards house keeping - its all good >> -edit - but i suppose it is a bit like giving you a £100 and then taking it back off you<< nothing useless - usual shower gel and stuff! but meh it will all be used
