  1. sunset beach was nuts, didn't some woman find a gem stone that had maigc powers and could control people ... genius baywatch surely for hot girls and the hasselhoff factor
  2. my uncle lived in albert square in london and one of his neighours was joanna lumbley... wahey
  3. Damn that frame gonna be popular... will be interested to know the geo!
  4. - When you do something and you nail it perfect and you feel in total control of your bike. - When you do something and you nail it mega sketchy and you are right on the edge of losing it, but you pull it back - When your on a ride and somebody does something and everybody just stops and goes 'WTF!! that was nuts!'
  5. i was quoting from the frame and forks page though and most trials bikes are custom builds though anyhow only koxx and onza really sell (decent) full builds, most trials companies don't. It just that it sounds like it was there idea maybe i am being pedantic didn't he just run 24" in a 26" frame with 3" tires and double discs
  6. come along, the more the merrier
  7. when did neighbours start getting exciting?
  8. Ride as much as possible, even its its just half and hour on the curb outside your house it all helps - i still ride them and think of new ways ride them. Recently i have just been pissing about with back wheel balance and seeing how long i can balance on the back wheel without hopping and it has been really helping, just making my riding more controlled and confient - but yeah just ride! maybe buy 'tricks and stunts' and/or 'mastering the art of trials' on dvd both a good instructional vids
  9. I got my first ashton et (over 2 years ago ) i felt instantly at home on it and my actually trials riding has improved loads on it (especially recently) - everyone that goes on are suprised at how nice it is on the back wheel. I ride natural on mine too and the only thing that i don't like are wheelswaps/pigeons/replacing its the main move i struggle with, short length and tight headangle just don't help! I would the only new bike i can reckonmend to you is the onza zoot (as curtis and leeson are too expensive) but i reckon you will get on with it the low frame will be good for sidehops and i think it has a fairly slack headangle - which will be good for taps. maybe put a fairly streety bar stem setup too. rims - onza ronnie/reggie willbe good, just the same as 26" version. sun ryhno lite xl , tioga dh and odyessy hazard lites are all great too mike
  10. oh right... a guinea pig, advanced preview of season 5 of 24 and a trip to barcelona - that would set me up with her for life
  11. you have a lot to learn my son... your not meant to ask her, your meant to know!!!! if she is ill dude i wouldn't go for the full romantic meal and setting the mood for some good loving, because she probs won't feel like it or appreiate it, wait till she is better for that Go for a present that she will apreiate when she is ill and can't be arsed doing owt - book by her fav author (if she is into that) or maybe a dvd, you know something she can enjoy while being ill and some nice flowers (roses are good) and a card (handmade is better ) mike

  17. gloves -best just going into a shop and trying a bunch on really, everyone has different shaped hands. ligher weight xc ones tend to be better though. shin pads - for winter/colder weather i use tsg neopene ones and they are great, lasted me years. For summer i use fox knee/shin ones (around £20) with the knee bits chopped off. knee pads - i don't use them but i would reccomend looking at bmx sites for so ones that don't have a hard shell as a lot of people fine they restrict movement.
  18. cool vid dude love the wedge thing on the grey box/wall good riding over all, some of those lines at backcown were a hell of a lot tougher than they looked. mike
  19. fantastic riding and awesome riding, great style, control, techy stuff and big moves too. Everything was brill, but... ...the music imo was hiddeous, it just really got on my tits. I think it was the vocals or something just annoyed the hell outta me. Great riding though

feb 12th on sky thanks for the torrent link - bauer is god
  22. i would say that the bike is limiting to a degree, it easier to tap on a longer bike and he could go higher with one. but then if he did ride a longer 'more uci' bike then other aspects of his riding would suffer. it a compromise you have to make really...
