"Another option would be to connect the chain whilst its off of the sprokets then pedal it on unless its way too tight this can also work" i've heard that doing this can ruin the bearings in the bb/hub so be careful if you choose this option
are your pads close enough to your rim? if your bolts are a little loose the calipers may have moved outwards when you last braked, if so try moving the calipers in a little. hope i helped
i ordered a brake booster on friday and it came today, there's probably a lot of mail to get through though because selectbikes was shut over christmas and there were a few days where royalmail etc didn't deliver
yeah, the control rides nice, i've only had it since christmas though, so i've only ridden it a couple of times. in reply to totaltrials, i've been talkin to sexymike so i'll probably see you on one of the rides
hi, i was a bit bored so i thought i post a pic of my new bike: http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=viewℑ=694296 any comments welcome cheers, stu
i hate having to repair stuff as i normally have to do it at the most inconveniant of times, i love building bikes up fom scratch though and tailoring them to suit yourself. i'm building up a ta26 in a couple of weeks, can't wait, woohoo (Y)
my cousin's got one and it's a really good bike for the price, it held up to the abuse he's thrown at it (he ain't exactly smooth if you know what i mean lol)
i was thinkin about getting the pink one but decided on silver because it wouldnt show scratches as much etc. Also i don't think i'm quite ready to make the step to a bright pink frame yet lol. It probably won't be finished until chrimbo so i'll tell u how it rides then
i'm building a base ta26 and was wondering if anybody could tell me what size bottom bracket shell and axle i will need (i will probably be using middleburn cranks), cheers
