Too right, I have one of these and it just oozes awesomeness. It's a really nice riding bike, I even prefer the way it rides to my dad's bianchi which is a bit more expensive than it
It's quite steep really, there's a hill of that gradient that I climb quite a lot on my road bike and trust me it's a bugger (especially on a 39:23 lowest gear), any much steeper than that and you'd need a ladder edit: so coming down it I imagine you could get quite some speed up
That was the old style pure though, I don't know the geometries but I imagine they will be slightly different. They look a good frame for the price though anyway
No, it would be the other way round, having a fixed front and rear cog would give instant engagement, but obviously this isn't practical. So having just one is best as you only have to wait for one to engage rather than two.
I do quite a bit of xc and road, I usually go on a ride at least once a week and the least I ever normally go is about 25/30 miles, tis good fun and keeps me fit
About 48mph I think, although I prefer the kinda skillful technical bendy descents rather than the straight 'hope the g-force doesn't push your eyes to the back of your skull' kind. Road bikes rule!!
Quite a few members have had their names changed recently so I should think that it can be done. I don't know whether the option's just for validated members or not though.
