  1. I think those kind of forks have suspension corrected geometry i.e. they are longer as the frames they are designed for were designed for use with suspension forks. So I imagine on a trials bike they would slacken the head angle by quite a bit and would just ruin the geometry Also I don't really think that there would be much benefit in trials of it being slightly stiffer. But you're not stupid, just.........inventive
  2. Awesome vid Bucky. Nice kinda 'unique' riding style, with the smoothest manuals in the world
  3. Well, I wasn't disputing that fact, I was just answering this question "could anyonje tell me what the rachet is? looks like? and were abouts it the hub its located?" which was asked at the end of the previous post.
  4. 'Matt' and 'beast' are the same thing Crazy bmx stunt riding with no seat
  5. The ratchet ring is the thing with ridges on which the pawls engage into.
  6. Yep that's about right. I think it's a +10 bb
  7. Probably just broke the pawls or the springs. Somewhere like tartybikes could fix it for you, or you could buy the parts and do it yourself
  8. Yeah it's in Appleton Thorn (near where Mike lives). Warrington ride would be cool
  9. I've got the bolts + I'm gonna tap mine. Just wondering for when I've done it; do I tighten them as hard as I can or will they snap? or do I just do them quite tight? (the bolts are the ones from tartybikes btw) I know it's a bit of a silly question but 4bolts you just do quite tight whereas crank bolts you do up really tight without them snapping.
  10. Awesome vid Kyle Best yet. You're becoming quite a beast

I don't really think it's fair to say it's just a copy until somebody has ridden one e.g. t-rex and zoot look similar but ride completely differently. I think it looks quite good and with a decent price tag I think they'll be onto a winner
  12. They are I think, but rear ones are poo to start with so I wouldn't really like to try a front one at the rear.
  13. Origin of Symmetry front cover. Because Muse rule

A question that's kinda related to the thread -> what's the difference between xp home and xp professional?
  15. chrishayton's grey Echo Control It's luvverly
  16. I think the front chainrings used in trials are too small to give enough adjustment for that to work i.e. you could only push the chain up a little bit before it hit the chainstay Good idea though.
  17. Nobody, as of yet no knobheads have added me edit: just realized what you meant. Answer to that is nobody too, I like reading what the eejits put
  18. Some old trialsworks vids if anybody wants 'em: vid1 vid2 vid3 vid4 vid5 vid6 I know it's a bit of a poo server but they're only small files. I'll edit with some more tomorrow edit: couple more: trialsworks zoo vid 1 trialsworks zoo vid 2 trialsride.com Danny Smith vid trialsride.com vid
  19. I doubt it as it would void the warrenty and if anything did go wrong with the frame it could be them who get held responsible and mithered by whoever's frame it was. So I can't see them doing anything like this really.
  20. There aren't any drilled rims that come in blue and are less than 40mm wide I'm afraid (unless you get a front one, which I wouldn't like to try as they are not built to take the same ammount of force), so I would say go for an Onza Ronnie.
  21. You can't go wrong with an echo stem then really, or perhaps one of the new hope ones. I run a 90mm echo stem and I'm really pleased with it, I ride mostly street too A lot of people favour slightly longer stems than that though so maybe go for a 100mm.
  22. Have you got any bars yet? If so, what diameter are they?
  23. No they can't, unless you can find a 2nd hand one in the for sale/wanted section. I shouldn't think it'll be long before they're producing them again though.
