Little debate here I'm a normal person with a solid grasp of english grammar and vocabulary. To my knowledge cleverer isn't a word because it just sounds wrong, in the same way eagerer isn't a word. The correct form should be more clever and more eager. Friend and dictionary sites say it isn't So without wiki-ing it is it a word? And which would you use? What does trials-forum think?

Out of interest, which do you sidehop better to back wheel? mod or stock?
-
Thats not mumbles is it? No offence Dave but you dont suit mod at all imo! Theres alot of moves in that video you do, that you're expecting the bike to act like a stock (like rolling onto something, or switching positions on the up to fronts). All the static stuff like the gaps are still big, so maybe its just adjusting but youre such a monster at stock anyway you'll never be that good on mod too On the plus side though, good rear wheel control on the small stuff and the small ledges, see you've found the advantage of riding mod But yeah on the whole, more suited to stock...

I know... what I know Literally one of the best. The pedal move up is very Akrigg-esque too... just awesome! I think the 2006 one was one of the first I ever saw! EDIT: Wait its missing the start in the van...

Rob Margetts will like this thread... There are locals, I barely ride at all now but someone'll come out. Sounds like youre a student?

lol TF... Nice work J. I liked the innovation more than the moves, you used to not see those sort of lines between the slabs but now its great you do and you're pulling off the usual big moves between em. But music not my cup of tea. meh still, good stuff!
-
Absolutly awesome video. Had a good vibe throughout although the music brought it down a bit. The complimentary camelpak - love it! Even more if its still the same one from the 2005 vids!

yes. but at least you stay awake on a saturday night. I often go to bed. Id love to sit in front of my pc on a saturday. Social, uni work and climbing dictate that I can't.
-
oh my god That was amazing! I love it! You still so smooth Ben have to organise a ride at some point... Lovely lines and lovely moves. Really liked the acorn/pinecone sculpture... looks scary!
-
Sam do you actually live in Sheffield still? How can you complain about climbing!? Besides you're asking the wrong people. www.ukclimbing.co.uk is your best hope. You can ask if people will belay you, climb with you etc. Im president of my Uni's climbing club this year and we're heading up to the peaks the start of Nov... but Im not going to teach you Theres loads of bouldering at Stanage Plantation. Awesome fun there. Just get a bouldering mat and then you can go there yourself!

Really liked it guys. Was big moves but was quite nice/pleasant to watch still!

Do you definitely not want one second hand? The sale section + Ebay may have some?
-
^^ Yes, this seems the good answer What actual evidence could your mate (or more likely your mate's missus) present a court that says they have access to their house? If none, (bare in mind 'he said so' doesn't wash) you should be ok

I guess this proves the plane does take off...

I think it seems you are being prejudiced Mark Of course its annyoing when you're the one in pain, you've experianced it so you're well familiarised with it... but at the same time the doctors have to know EXACTLY what happened incase you could have injuries that are not obvious. In Chris's case, what if he'd bombed it a couple of miles cross country first and then skidded off - He'd be really out of energy, out of breath, elevated heart rate - could have burst blood vessels when accompanied with the fall? Don't know Im far from a doctor When I broke my arm climbing they did the same. I fell and landed on my arm. It hurt. As far as I was concerned why the f*ck did anything else matter? if anything else hurt I obviously would have told them. But apparently if my arm was broken it could have 'overwhelmed' the pain of a head injury so they asked if I hit my head on the way down. I think theres also an element of 'I don't want to be sued so Im going to be thorough' about it too. Anyway Im done. That video is pretty good, I can't believe how calm he is... Maybe he's just used to it now?

I always wondered if the public response was geographic: In north wales all you get is complaints and police. In south wales, people are a lot more appreciative

loss of man points for the pun. Id say either put brakes on it as it is, or swap the tyres for something more rolly...

Same. I started at 16 doing trials on a bmx... Got my first actual trials bike on my 17th birthday Before 16 I was too busy being a kid to think about taking anything seriously haha

Where was it? Looked like an easy section to be honest...
-
Why would anyone want to be 5?
-
Well you've got a point, you could end up living with pricks for your first year But as first year doesnt count to your final degree its usually the one where everyone goes nuts!
-
Thats a bit more than what I spend on food per week, but about right. You will spend more than your loans and grant though, thats normal. Part time jobs during christmas and easter might help you get back to £0.00 though... Don't forget your first year is your BEST. Don't skimp too much now because next year it will actually mean something and (depending on your degree) you should cut back on the booze...

Top of Tryfan, North Wales We go for scrambles/walks every Sunday regardless of the weather, because you can still do it in the pouring rain (if you're good enough and know how to map read properly). Had a few sketchy moments on Tryfan during the scrambling bit just because it was so wet, but in reality it was great fun. Otherwise, sit inside and masturbate like a chimp?
