EVERYBODY is different because their bike length is different, as well as their height, as well as their centre of gravity The sweet spot is very hard to quantify in measurements, so its basically asking how long a piece of string is....

Jamie You can't buy profile 20" disc hubs in the same way you can a normal profile hub. As said above, you need to buy the internals of a 20" hub and then fit the MTB disc shell around the outside (may need a bit of filing) If you see a site that sells "disc profile rear hubs" CHECK THEY AREN'T 135mm! If you manage to make one though, it'll be worth it, and it'll sell for loads on here too as I know lots of people, including me, are after one

Money wise, £150 should be enough. If you're clever, those of you with nice parents will get them to buy tins of food before you go, so you don't have to eat "le lapin" for tea every night. Badger days was a great success last year...well it wasn't....half of us got hospitalised but anyway it was still a good experiance and I HIGHLY reccommend anyone who CAN go SHOULD go.
