Sorry to slate onza, but wtf... Ive just bought a new wheel build, along with a new (old) T-lite frame as my current T-lite frame has cracked in 3 places (BTW im not slating that before anyone starts). Built the wheel, put it in, put the chain on (the new frame had slightly longer stays than the one I was using so had to slacking my chain tugs a bit) FINALLY went to put my brake on, and "oh" struck me... The brake mounts have been brazed on way too high! Like I need a 19.5" rim for it to work right! Now i mean off angle tubing here and there and id never complain, but something as important as that really pisses me off! Mostly as I've just wasted the last 3 hours trying to figure out some way I can get around the problem, but no combination of chain length, tensioner adjustment, or pad angle will let me ride The wheel is right up against the end of the dropouts and its still about 7mm too small. If I take he tensioner out its about 2mm to short, but the chain goes really slack. I cant get somwhere in the middle because the chain tug bolts aren't long enough. so if anyone has a nice cheap short frame for sale (as in under £50) please let me know. In the mean time, Im bikeless even though I have two frames sat in my room Other than that if anyone can suggest any other methods not listed here, feel free to post away.
