Well because its a long, I wanted to raise it up a bit more. I loved my 1075 wheelbase so Im trying to get that feeling back again...Need more experimentation though Ive not tapped it yet, ill be trying them today (May scratch it!! ) Sidehops very nicely indeed! and pedal upping without a tap, something im not very good at, it seems really good at that too! Ive just finished year 1 so I think you're a year ahead of me! Ill be msning you for help no doubt Thanks for the replies guys. Im pretty chuffed with the way it looks too. I need to sort the back brake out for now though, doesn't seem to be biting well at all

Fitted a neon ISIS BB. My BB tool seems to have a smaller than standard bore than other tools, as when I fitted it, the tool caught on the gold/red sleeve part of the BB axle. Then as I tightened the BB into the frame, it pushed the axle in with it!! As a result, the BB seems a little off centre and the non driveside is catching on the brake cylinder (Can't move it in anymore, its already very close Ive tried refitting it: Taking off the non driveside cup (So the bearing isn't against the cup) Hammering the axle through from the driveside so its FLUSH with the BB, then fit the cup again and with the pushing through its still doing, it still doesn't end up centre Im going to try and find another BB tool that fits properly, but any other ideas/things to try now? Ta

thanks for clearing that up Still, putting lighter components on your bike will pretty much always until hell freezes over make your bike lighter. Unless you're just adding more and more bits and not taking any off. Ash, in well too early -
Ive put this in my new frame, tightened it up, went to ride, it was wobbly so i tightened it. Carried on, it got loose again so i tightened it. etc etc. up to the point where it was still rocking a bit and not turning. Opened it up to find the top bearings gone everywhere and the bearings cage race bit mangled to hell :/ Does anyone know of a bodge to fix this? Otherwise im going to head down to my ball bearings man to see if he's got something suitable.

take your dustcaps off next time. Don't cross thread them though -
Been having a bad time recently with bikes and life in general just getting me down. Thought I had a bike and then something went wrong, and with having no money meaning I couldn't do anything about it except mope around. Anyway thanks to everyone buying bits in my sale thread, and some top lads from Tartybikes and local lads, Im back!

+1 still, tra should be entering the comps and doing well. Where TGS monsters like damon and tunni wouldnt do as well in a comp, TRA is more in the grey area between TGS and natural Id say.

pfft check out senior 20" 2008 bet you didn't know that!

in 2 words, hell no disc brake pads are (usually) sintered and quite hard meaning they wont deform as much under pressure. When HS33 pads are used the polyeurathene (or whatever polymer it is) distorts a hell of a lot more and thus can get into the slices and grooves of a rim made by the grinder.

what? this is silly Slide the gold thing into the lever and hold it still using you're left index finger. Then using your right hand, screw the bolt in. I don't see how thats hard to understand. Then you can either place the sheared bit off (which goes either side of the piston rocker) in place and put the lever back together (the force of the new m5 bodge bolt against the plate will stop it coming out) OR I think you can just use the bolt on its own against the piston rocker

it seems hope have kicked this gift horse in the teeth and shagged its mother (ok not the last bit, but i was on a roll). So many people want this freehub, and are dedicated to bump topics from november, and still nothing's been done. Obviously the company is mega busy as is every other, but come onnnnn get it out! as Muel said TAKE OUR MONEY! Also I think now is an appropriate time for Ash Kennard to feel smug
