long stock frames are beasty for tapping. So I found that having a high stem helps even more with this Having a low stem usually helps for front wheel moves and sidehops (if you go to front wheel) But as said above its personal preference. Having a low stem doesn't mean you cant tap again ever...

I have a life thanks. It requires sustanance which I absorb via the medium of carrots, sandwiches and lightly roasted potato snacks ie pringles. What your failing to grasp is I didnt just eat 80 cans of pringles in a week for a laugh... well you get the point I wont make you look even more of a tit. and secondly I dont need to because Id rather do outdoor sports than go to a gym (just personal preference) and if you feel that strongly against it, why are you herem inside on the internet when you could out, having a life and being in the gym? mmm?

im speechless... Its one thing to see good moves, but to see you come through a handicap to still do trials well... as per the message at the start really. Im so in respect of how youve managed to carry on, I honestly dont think Id have the ability to carry on if I became disabled. Seriously, mega congrats with the video. Its a nice one just to sit back and enjoy. Is it downloadable anywhere?

+1 what a legend! AND a podium finish from him too (second I believe) not bad for a guy whos had a break for the last few years! and entered his first blue route

Well I have mixed reactions so I'll put them under good and bad Good: Trial was awesome, sections were well marked highly varied (slope one was great fun!) I did well for myself, improved on the second lap and got through some sections clean I never thought Id even finish Saw a good number of cracking people as always Didn't get lost on the way there or back Bike and car didn't break! Although my 'crash' on wayne's section made my brake better Watching Tim and Cath on the go karts was funny... Tim flooring it round the corners and still getting grip! Bad: The face of 2008 was a bit abrupt Ive just got back and I've got the shits Nearly ran out of petrol...lol Bloody traffic on the M6! I worked 5 days before the trial, did the trial, now Im working tomorrow...gonna be fooooooked Ahhh I got drenched by the wave Was an awesome, long overdue, day out

Anyone who didn't look in the collection thread, ive predicted at the end of my second year in uni, Ill have 80 empty cans of pringles of equal size and varying flavours. I could just leave them ontop of the cupboard (2 layers), marvel at it and wait for another 2 years to see how many more I get OR I can do something with them. Build something? Be imaginative and if its good enough Ill do it next summer! First one to say a really long tube fails. Suggestion so far is build a small fort out of them, and them fire a flaming bow and arrow at it medievel style and burn it to the ground. So what would you do with 80 empty pringles cans....lets hear em TF

yeah. I build mine as per G-sport using top and bottom (rather than left and right) Undo everything. Sorry you've done it wrong. May seem like it'll do but come truing do you tighten the left side or right? Gets confusing and not worth the hassle Sit your arse down, and put the rim on your lap with the valve hole opposite you Hold your hub roughly in the middle and get a spoke (remember to use the correct length if the hub has different sized flanges!) Insert the key spoke (first one) by posting it from the top and drop it through a hole in the top flange. ANY damn hole These are inbound spokes Put this spoke to the hole that is either to the left, or right of the valve hole (Whichever is UP) I try to lace mine to go to the right of the valve hole (by flipping the rim over if needed) so that inner tube valve clearance is gained but if not dont worry about that. So long as the inbound spokes at the top go to a hole on the top, you're fine Then carry on as per sheldonbrown (RIP) or G-sport hubs (remember G-sport is 4x) If you cant do the rest post now and ill put up a brief descripton cos im nice Matt

I liked it. The editing held it back a little bit, but more so im really glad you did it that way, because your video stands out from everything else at the moment. Don't try it again, because then it wont be original, but definitly be proud of that edit Its a downloader for me, the music worked well except the crowd cheering bits seemed a bit too cheesy Riding wise, I was about to say you look really restricted in that video compared to what Ive seen you do, but then the techy hook you did on the slab on the streets came up and you did that really well and then the tap to mega-boon at 3:10 was really cool and properly emphasized the shit run-up and awkward ness of that section. So despite riding mike and will's phases and knowing how short they feel.. you seem to be doing well on it! Good stuff Rich! Matt
