um whats wrong with tapping it though? Where can i get a helicoil kit as soon as poss? and wont I have to get larger magura bolts to fit an M5 thread?

I've kind of destroyed the thread in my magura mounts. My friends got a tapping set but does anyone know what size it is before we get it out and do it? lol M4? M3? Other? Thanks

Snail cams are good. Lightweight and work surprisingly well. Except with most non-monty frames you need a bolt to go into the hole in the dropout. Imagine what happens if you have a spiral on a CD. Slowly spin the CD and the line moves from the centre, outwards towards the edge. Similarly as you turn the snail cams (usually a mallet helps) it pushes against the lug/bolt which in turns pulls your wheel back (Y) Hope that helps

*Cough* Freeride trials :wub: We've done an indoor competition where everything was seriously rock solid. you dont need to nail the pallets, our secret was to get those adjustable car straps for about £3 each and just strap a stack of 4 etc together. This creates a very strong structure without damaging the pallets AND you can re-use again. Also if you are using blue pallets, make sure you keep an eye on the plastic bits at the end. They bend quite quickly and when someone rides on it harshly.... *crack!* As for the tractor tyres, obviously you can have one upright but if you lie 1 down and put a pallet on top... voila! a bouncy castle (Y):D PM me mate if you want a few more ideas =8¬). What about removing a spacer or two at the bashring? then there wouldn't be a gap for the chain to get into. Just a thought, might be bad idea. Dunno lol thought id suggest it anyway
