Although he would then have to lightly grind the screws to a taper, he still could have done that (Ive done it) These threads (no pun intended ) really irritate me "Ooh I've messed up, can I get a replacement" There are so many alternative ways round (also known as bodges) solutions that so many people give up straight away Helicoil is a perfect solution. Its so simple I've done it myself, with no experiance of tapping or any mechanical background. My magura is saved and morks perfectly. I suggest you look at helicoiling AGAIN.....

OK Im fed up with my pc crashing during transfers over MSN and bascially I was wondering how easy would it be to use bit torrent to allow my mates to gain the footage which Ive taken. I have a very limited knowledge of how it works normally, All I know its a p2p program which sends mini pieces of data to a pc which 'coincidently' make a file at the end of the 'download' So can someone tell me the steps I would have to take in order to share my footage please thanks

I know this is mostly me moaning because it seems im number 1 in the world for cross threading, BUT instead of putting all the strain of a hydraulic brake into 2 little cubes with a thread inside them, why don't bike manufacturers just drill a hole straight through the frame and have a good old nut and bolt system? I know the first answer will be because it will destroy a frame, but make the hole wider at one end so that the nut can fit inside the seat stay? Anyway discuss, not argue

If you're getting new cranks I suggest the new tensiles for two reasons They have removable pedal inserts They have been redesigned not to bite your ankles If you want to keep your old cranks, then you do need to helicoil them and I to can not be bothered explaining
