  3. Dont think this one is This is the older model though..... Id say the ronnie but maybe others say different
  4. Koxx rim does fit fine, but its a tight squeeze. This means that the brake is really sharp though Also Im sure if you email supercycles you can ask them to fit the bash plate for you, and they shouldn't charge you extra for it...
  5. well Im sure you don't need me to post the state of MY alex rim, but can I ask why you aren't getting a ronnie instead? EDIT: Incindently bikedock sell them http://www.bikedock.com/posit/shop/index.p...gory=24&group=4

    Booster

Sorry if your mind is made up, but the onza carbon fibre is pretty good too. The only problem I found with C-F is that if it doesn't fit, drilling/milling it out is a bit silly....

    they the racing ones?
  8. Was bombing on my a to b bike down a bridge on a wet day. At the end there were some railings, designed to slow down idiots like me, but I decided it would be clever to test out my sh!tty old v brakes.... I slammed on as close as possible, obviously didn't stop, slid out, and my neck landed on my bar-ends If I didn't have such thick rubber grips, I would either be dead or have a 3/4" hole in my neck

There are also the other models of Hs (hs11, and hs22 (i believe) ) but they aren't as suited to trials as the hs33 which is why everyone uses them I guess that its such an exclusive design, to try and make a different type would mean that you'd be copying the normal magura. AND theres no need to improve it really so meh lol
  10. Koxx rims arent as soft as every says (well my old one anyway) If you want proof search for my 8ft drop (which ive done another 2 times since filiming btw) and look how harshly I land. And the only bent part of the rim was recently when I was riding with a pinched tube and gapped to a rock You can also ask any of the local riders round here how low my psi is too
  11. new koxx's are 47mm. On the tf ruler, that means theyre the same as the echos (Y)

    Universitys

Come to Swansea and keep me company!! Only 200 UCAS points for the 4 year foundation course (i need to do cos I dropped a level maths) But yeah in terms of recognition Loughbourgh or Brunel are very highly reccommended for Engineering. I cant go there because it is cheaper for me (a sutdent living in Wales) to go to a Welsh universities, where fees per year are £1,100 instead of £3,500

  22. nice one mr mark. Nice technical speech too
  23. I think this is best idea too Worked for mine. But also do it in the wet as the rain cools it down
  24. The simplest answer, this is probable the most likely. When I firtst got my profile I rode it to my mates to get chain tensioners and it was skipping like f*ck. Problems were I hadn't bedded it in at all The chain was too loose Make sure the chain is tight before you start trying anything. Then take it on long rides and it should bed in nicely for you. Try not to go whizzing down hills though, just a nice speed Thats just the lockring for the cog To get at the springs, all you do is pull out the driver and turn it (freewheel direction) to help it. The springs could fall out but doubt it. EDIT: Also just struck me, if its trying to lock it could be because some fragments have come off your pawls. It happened with me and a mate of mine. All you do is take the driver out (as said above) and clean them out
