Monty bash plate will NOT fit. My standard monty bash didn't fit so im guessing an upgraded one for monty wont fit either Zips are great, good choice. Nice and cheap, but with good geo. seeems a bit strange that you're going from a hope to an acs, but there we go.... You will definitly need a mech/tensioner of some sort because otherwise it will jump off if the chain isn't tight. Seems a good idea otherwise I think Pete's idea is pretty cool though

If you are as tight as a ducks arse, or want to do it now. you can use a really gnarly file and it works...okish. Not as good as a grind, but definitly better than nothing
