Its getting worse Nick to be honest. When I first started going it was 90% about trials riders and a little bit about music and drinking. Then they combined it with K124 and so the dirt jumpers, flatlands and even scooters got involved, but they were still sideline acts to the main trials events. Then the last year I went it was about 50/50... I think they're seeing it now from a financial point of view and that they can get more money if they involve the larger sports such as bmx and dirt.

Ive always wondered why I havent been a senior member because of my age and experiance (been doing this for 9 years now!) and how I wanted to be in the cool gang that is SM. But recently as you've pointed out Mike, I dont really have my finger on the pulse with the new school stuff. I would really like to start helping out again but travelling anywhere is sucking big time being a student and currently on 'vacation' on the IOW. I can't afford to travel to competitions or help with demo's as Ive never been asked to do demos except for woodfest. Maybe if I did a whole year of UK nationals, I might win again? Dunno mike, Id like to help with the trials world but as I currently stand Im not very promoting of the sport.

maybe, but the point of buthiers is the originality of the rock. Theres some weird shapes around and lots of rocks close together. Ogwen has rocks close together, but theyre all sharp and edgy, plus its in llanberis where the weaher is always rainy

Ive heard its a good geometry for lots of things and to be honest I like the look of the geo too. Unfortunately, they dont last long. Im not sure how many Bessell's snapped...its atleast 1 lol If you can get them cheap, do it! but don't pay too much for it

I see from the K124 website that the next Koxx days 2011 are in tour de scay again. I take it everyone had a great time who went this year as we rowdy lot werent there? I know there was a massive drop out of big riders and usual goers, so Ill change the question this year: Koxx days 2011, Whos not going? perhaps a copy paste reply list can start? see how successful it is. Its been so long since Ive bought anything Im out of touch with most things. Im looking on tarty at hubs, and the lightest hub seems to be the Echo TR, but how come these are so cheap? I assume theres some problem with them? I don't want to spend more than £60 on a hub to be honest (got to be disc) and no more than £45 on a rim so if anyone could make recommendations Id be greatful. They don't have to be the lightest available, Id rather they lasted a long time and were heavier to be honest ta

Another question on the seat tube. Anything yet? is it rideable? It looks incredible in bare metal colour to be honest. And a good deal of time in this but please put a seat tube in if theres nothing already! lol What kind of pipe roller did you use btw? ring roller or a former? Radius looks kinda tight for the wall thickness... seriously good looking frame though
