  3. Is it just me or is that 100% contradictory "Im not going to quit, but I LOVE DIRTJUMPS!" The punchline if you're confused: Its trials not trails
  4. nice one Have to say I dont like the idea of mass trials across the UK. It'll mean trials wont be as special as it once was. Also look at bmx, that started off being as small as trials was. Now look at it, all sorts of weird people involved there, and a fashion sense too?! Imagine riding trials in your favourite 3/4ers and your on a ride somewhere. then when you get there the riders all say "wtf you wearing? 3/4ers are what chavvy learners wear" or something like that. I want to go ride knowing that I'm different from everyone else. I have no idea where this 'team' thing came from but Im certain the last person in NMC who mentioned his "krew" (maybe with a 'c') got ABSOLUTLY SLATED. I ride with my mates because of the fact, they're my mates who ride trials. Not because they ride much better than me and I look cool with them. We don't just ride when we go out, we sit and chat and generally chill out. And bitch about forum people Right im going to stop so matt has no excuse not to read it

  11. OK heres my tip, and i think iolo does his this way too Get the wheel in a truing stand or similar with tyre + tube off Set it spinning a bit With goggles on put the grinder on PARALELL to the wheel to get it spinning at 11,000 rpm (or whatever your grinder does) NOW grind it and perpendicular or similar I use a grinding disc btw

  17. [attachmentid=6260] OK I had a thought, Im not sure if this is already implemented on stock bikes, but im sure its not. Basically instead of a vertical dropout, you have a circular one. This means that the wheel will always be the right distance away from the brake + frame but you can also tension it like a mod Its hard to describe, but im sure it would work. And I've not looked closely at many stock bikes so im not sure if its already in use... ah well if its useless it was fun to doodle in paint Ideas?

I think now people have got over the intial shock, they're warming to the idea now. But it doesn't excuse how crap its going to be for stock riders to buy new hubs when their old ones work perfectly fine Definitly think horizontal dropouts are a good idea though ....wait that's given me an idea!
