  3. hes not going wad. hes chaffeuring me to manchester bout midday im going apparently
  4. Cake - He's going the distance googled it surely?
  5. im pretty sure there is. if not there's probably only 1 change
  6. cones come loose, thats always a given. but not after a few hours of riding a brand new bike? ok herers how you fix it. As its been said learn this because youll be doing it alot on coned hubs: Take the back wheel out Slacken off the locking nuts (the nuts next to the cones) Tighten the cone nuts. Too tight, and the wheel wont spin, too loose and it'll wobble. You want the happy medium between the two. With the cones in place, hold them with a cone spanner, and tighten the locknut against it TIGHT AS POSSIBLE. Remember dont alter the cone nut Put wheel back in and done
  7. Aw man thats so crap. I feel for you. As its been said above, you do sound innocent to any other human being, but in the eyes of the law you (may) have committed a crime. To be honest, it could all be nothing at all. He COULD have the documents at home and everything will be fine? I wouldn't worry too much over it just in case this is the case. Maybe your boss had a punch up with his brother or something, and shat himself on the way back when he realised his brothers a copper? could be anything But if you have been un-insured... sorry bud, tell them the truth but i still think they might rape you a little

    Crocs!

Holey soles are cheaper I was just about to post this topci actually as we've received some (holey soles) at work. My first thought too was, wtf cheap rubber shit why are we selling them at £27.99? wtf Then I put them on. Now the insole is so comfy, all the little bumps feel great and the springiness from them is quite comfortable too. The only gay thing is at size 9, I have to wear XL and also the little strap thing at the back is utterly useless. Even in a large size which is too small, they felt like they were going to slip off Not worth it in my opinion. Fun to jump around in for a bit and then you look down and see how stupid you look in them....
  10. Got my days off sorted. Me and Will Arnold are coming. Might squash 2-3 more local riders in too. As for your question abdab, ill be filming just for the sheer numbers id like to get it "documented"
  11. i was going but my ear infections back (third time ) so im not; i just wont be able to concentrate might come up and film though....
  12. but much nicer than a normal one yours is ace :D joe that seriously sucks man. If i saw someone messing with my car on our drive, id first tell them to get off and phone the police, but if they didn't id run outside and launch them off the roof, off the drive and make sure they left with a message saying not to come back again. if you're getting raped by the insurers, then surely the least you can do is rape them.
  13. although before you committ I STRONGLY suggest you find someone with a monty frame + a bb7 on the rear to make sure it does fit. I can tell you now a bb7 does not fit smoothly/without modification on a hydroxx frame because there is a large weld in the way where the mounting braket goes.
  14. i rarely measure sidehops. I live by an ever-progressing wall and i just make my way up on that....chasing will arnold + craig daives on it I've made a mark on the wall as to where im up to on it but not measured it, except its a fist over bar the only advantage to measuring is that its a generic + easy-to-relate-to method of communicating performance to other riders
  15. awesome ride! my first brum ride and im so impressed! was jsut so much to do and so good. great laugh with everyone and yeah as will said, serious "pushing personal limits" going on today, damn well done to everyone but! you all missed the most horrific bail of the day! Back in vic square, by the weird stone statue thing, Pete was on the wall, going for the up to the bigger, perpendicular wall. He tapped it, feet went flying either side of the frame, he fell back onto the first wall and then rolled off it :o He managed to drive out the car park though so hopefully he got home ok Have to do it again sometime
  16. i must be one of the only people who dont suffer from back pain because of bar + stem combo either that or im not complaing about it just get it built up, see if you like it, if not then change. To be honest if you're getting a new frame its going to feeling different regardless of what bar and stem combo you have...
  17. yeah...dont they say in big letters, "not for bicycle use?" also whats it got to do with re-sealing?

move to the arctic/antarctic, whichever is closest to you seriously though, i just drink quite a bit. we had a ride in the evening and it was still hot, went to pub and I rehydrated by drinking 4 pints of coke in an hour ....the amount of gas in my lower intestines this morning was not funny. water ***, defintly un-carbonated though
  19. If i was picky, id change the grips to black ones.... but seriously thats nice very nice
