Well here you go, hope this is clear as: The magura crossover was the biggest pain in the ass I had when I was setting one up. If it was too short the pistons would have a tendancy to angle themselves "topwards-in". Too long and it create a sponge machine. A splitter (braided or not) has no mechanical advantage over a crossover; just the ease of setting it up as the hoses are more free to move and aren't applied to the same bendy pressure as a crossover. If you're 100% it was sold as working order, then you need to inform the buyer that he has sold the product under a false description. Don't be arsey. Just explain to him that you've had to buy new washers + a new magura and his initial inspection of the bike, no matter how qualified he is (he could be a bike mechanic, who owns his own shop etc.) was incorrect and could have caused injury. like i said, don't be arsey, but if i sold something that was actually f*cked id definitly like to know. With proof, Id give a partial refund too as a "sorry"

This is a long shot, but does anyone remember a TV game show on either channel 3, 5 (possibly 4 but doubt it) where contestants had to compete different challenges... there was also a bit with a celebrity sport where each week a different celebrity had to get 9 targets in chance to donate money to charity (EG tim henman had to serve 9 balls onto 9 targets on a court, and david beckham had to hit 9 targets in a goal) and there was also another section of trials. The first bit was little posts and then progressively got harder until it got to a massive drop gap at the end. Pretty sure Matt Barlow entered it? The very last game was a winner from one of the previous games chose a weight of a hammer to hit sections out of a tower and the more they got out without the tower falling, the more money they got.
