Id say, for 3 communities go for a very urban/street area, and very natural area and somewhere where with both? and see what sort of bikes those people use. As an example: Up north in Yorkshire tends to be pretty awesome for natural, and they'd use different frames to that of Matt Berridge

well to be honest with you, I think you'll find that you're far from on your own with the whole "i hate academic subjects" thing. For one, Im one of those people too, but here I am, studying mechanical engineering in uni..... *sigh* Landscape gardening...well...if you have no idea about it, how can you be interested in it? lol If you read deeper into it and realise that you really do want to get into it, then there sure as hell is no reason why not to. I'd just look around colleges etc for courses related to it, and then look for jobs too.

£200 sorted me fine last time ATAC!!! supermarket Wake up at 9 / 10 ride till you can see anything, go back to tent/chalet put bike away cook/buy food, talk, sleep, repeat you can shit wherever you want if you like, but there ARE toilets around the place If you're going to drive there, you need to be 18 and have european car insurance. The cheapest ferry crossings are from dover to dunkerque by norfolkline, and if you need to stay overnight in dunkerque, then you can get an F1 travelodge for 30€ a night for up to 3 people sharing (double bed though....) Fuel is cheaper over there, its about 4 hour drive? (i cant remember) from the coast to buthiers (near fountainbleu, malesherbes) Thats about it really, theres the koxx tent towards the end of the week which has new bikes, components etc and they had a dirt jump competition too, as well of course as the actual koxx days trial too.

Just a quickie for all the car guys out there, is there anything I can do to my skoda felicia diesel (1.9D not turboed) to give it more power? I know adding a turbo to it is one thing but thats a bit too complicated for my level of competence with cars. I was thinking more along the lines of performance air filters and such? but will it still help with power for a diesel or is it petrols only? Feel free to list some ideas, take money as no object but im not doing an engine transplant thanks guys!

hehe Friend of mine had a mod levelboss, the crack did last a long time to be fair, and then at a demo he was doing 4 foot drops to back wheel, then slamming the front down as hard as poss until finally it went You wont believe how thin it is on the inside

good try, but i've taken the wheel out and tightened it up in 4 different positions with different tightnesses. Still seems god awful! Keep them coming though

Good idea, I reckon something like the exeter indoor trial would be immense! Everyone Ive spoken to loved that! And yeah it would definitly have to be somewhere middle england for best attention! Otherwise itd be a bit of a trek from North/South wales for me But good plan, maybe have a tag-team 24hour enduro test?

I'm now running a hollow starnut setup so that my cable runs through my forks, and it worked really well. Now I say worked because for some reason the last couple of rides I brought it out and its just lost all of its power! No bite or hold at all, cant even stop me when I trackstand.... Now I don't know why its happening because here are my answers so far: Its not contamination Its not bad setup (doing the wind the outer pad adjuster in, tighten slotted bolts, unwind adjuster method to set it up) Its not pad wear because this happened all of a sudden, my front wheel was out and the bike was in the car Its not the rotor; all the bolts are tight Now it might the cable routing, for some reason my BB7 was really weird and never seemed very smooth (perhaps time to upgrade...) but now its getting silly. Any other ideas? Im running out... Thanks guys

i can do it with the front wheel straight, but my body just goes mental wobbling left and right frantically! its great fun, trackstanding and wheelies are without doubt the most fun on a bike!
