  1. I might be there, but can't say for certain at the moment! Did i meet you on saturday in Ramsgate?
  2. I still run koxx browns on a smooth rim. they used to work amazingly but now they're fast wearing out and i find myself reaching for the tar...
  3. I have just built up my new Zona Zip frame with my old parts a couple of days ago. However i have noticed that the brake mounts aren't actually straight on the frame. The brake still goes together fine and my booster fits e.t.c but i'm just wondering if it will cause any strength problems? The one other problem i've noticed is that even if my back wheel is as far back in the dropouts as it will go, the chain still isnt very tight, and yet if i take a link out then my back wheel hits the frame on the arch part that goes round the top of the wheel. Am i right in thinking i've stretched my chain? Thanks

    Hope Hubs

I would probably be interested in one, though i would prefer them to make a non-fixed mod hub.
  5. A few of us are hopefully going to ride Ramsgate later on, not sure if thats a bit far for you
  6. The only time i measure walls is so i get a rough idea of how hard it's going to be to get up and if its possible for me...and then i do it against my bike not with a tape measure! I agree with you DeeZee, i think its better when people concentrate on how smoothly and stylishly they can do a trick, not always just how big the trick is.
  7. Woah Tom didn't know you were still riding! You may remember me and Ali from a year or so ago? We both had mission frames and you got Ali a MAD frame! We should meet up sometime for a ride!
  8. I used to ride stock but switched to mod because i got fed up with snapping my mechs! As far as i'm concerned the only thing i can't do on a mod are x-ups, because of my long stem and wide bars! Mod and Stock are both different certainly, and different people prefer each of them, but neither one is better than the other.
  9. Ahh nobody told me or Ali bout that ride! (Y) We would have gone! (N)

    Acs Removal

I had this problem too with my ACS! After lots of trying with a spanner i eventually gave up and used a blow torch! After that it came off easily with small amount of force. (Y)
  11. Yeah bunnyhopping is the bestway for high things....Also i often use a sort of rolling wheelswap technique to get up walls on my T pro. you dont get stunningly high, but its so much easier and much less effort to do so compared to pedalling up them! :bunny:

    Martin Walker Video

Its called Martin and the Daddypants isn't it? I've always thought that was just the name of the song on that video.

    Vee

When are those V adaptors coming out? I might be interested in some of them in the near future....
  14. My T Pro felt too cramped so i got the koxx tryall replica bars and koxx stem......made it feel about a foot longer! :o
  15. That was immense, i loved that vid! You've made me want to go BMX now! :">

    Saracen Mad?

You would probably do better with the new MAD rather than the 2003 version, if you can get one instead..
  17. The new HS33's are certainly different to the older ones, but having used both types now, i don't think they're better or worse, just different. A day or two getting used to them and your fine (Y)
  18. Meh who knows, hard enough so that i don't hit the rims when i land, and so the tyres don't fall off if i land sideways, but soft enough so i dont break my wrists when i land.
  19. Yeah i heard the ebay quite a wee while ago...its very funny though.. :bunny: :deej:
