Hey Guys, Basically its been a long time since been riding. (Thinking i must of stopped about 07/08) Ive just literally moved to USA from cambridge. Theres quite alot of places here that have made me inspired to start trials again. Ive been checking out tartybikes and the "fashion" of the bikes has now changed. By this i mean it was popular to have all the colours made by echo! Back when i was really into the sport i had a proper "deng" bike. Its a 06 GU Typhoon Mod. I still have the bike with very little change since new (only pic i have of it the day i got it). But i always wanted to go dual disc it was just a preference i always wanted. But back then it was the monty ti and Wally's Adaptor on his Zoo that was around! So after looking on tarty and without getting anywhere i decided to ask the forum. I would like to get a 20" frame that has both disc and hs33 mounts on. I prefer high bb and im not actually fussed about the wheelbase (i ride the long version so i wouldnt mind something shorter!) Also i would have to get a new rear hub obviously. at the moment i have a profile. They used to have a disc profile hub are they still available? Due to i dont really want front free wheel but if i have to i have to! Heres a pic of the bike im riding at the moment! Thanks Mitch

My first video I know that the editing is crap and the music can be better choosen. But i cannot edit at all and i dont have speakers that work so i to listen to the song on the ipod and sort of guess Its all from Summer 06 so footage is a bit old. But i gave it my best and thats what counts Taa Mitch. Ps. If anyone can put the vid into the thread instead of having to go on youtube would be much appreciated because im not very technical with computers

Hey. I havent been riding in ages and im finally back out on the old beast. But i feel its time for a new frame.. Ive seen all the 07 models now and i have no clue which one to go for At the moment i ride a Gu Mod 06 Long. But i want to go to something slightly shorter. Because ive only ever rode a T-bird and a Gu im a bit inexperienced in what i want so i thought you might be able to help! What im after really is Mod thats in between 1000 and 1030 because i feel cramped on the 1000 and the really stretched on the Gu im only a little lad So if anyone has any good suggestions to push me in the right direction will be much appreciated And by the way Koxx are out of my price range so i cant look at them Many thanks Mitch

Is It Worth Me Gettin The New T-bird(07) Or The 06?
Mitch A replied to modbikerbarney's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Is barney thinking about gettin back into it!? I thought trials was boring and Bmx was wayyy better Changed your mind then -
In my personal opinion Gu rides great however just like Andy says its not to everyone's liking. The only way to see if you personally like the long Gu, you have to try one out yourself. Obviously short frames will be controlled different on the backwheel to a frame such as the python. Also the long Gu has great control on the backwheel however IMO not as good as the python does. Thanks Mitch

Those cranks can fit freewheels its just depending on what BB he is running (Echo external or any other ones) And looks bit like the Zoo Rim (i think)

Just one question springs to mind. Did you get permission to use a Tartybikes picture as your background? If not. ummmmmmmmmmmmm

Shh people dont want to add you and people are not to bothered about your website. Proper English and grammar would be rather appreciated also. But back on topic, Nobody can make that decision for you. See if you can have a go on these bikes when you go on rides with other people and see what you prefer. Many Thanks Mitch
