Right got my new Koxx bowns in the post this morning and, since I cant ride, thought I'd put them in some Heatsink CNC backings. Took some pics to share, I think they look the nutts and should work a beast too. Enjoy.

Basically you dont need planning permission if it's under 3 meters tall at the highest point with a flat roof or 4 meters with a pitched roof. But I could be VERY wrong as it's been a while since I've dealt with planning issues. Just go and ask you council planning office, they'll give you a answer pretty quickly.

Out of curiosity why don't you want to helicoil/steel insert? Edit: When I threaded my T-Rex I bought a tap and die set from B&Q and retapped it to M6. Was easy to do and cheap.

I think you can 'compress' more on your weak side. Maybe because if you 'tuck' too much, the crank will move down, creating more room to tuck into. I could be talking bollox

My mate had one and said ridding it was like kicking yourself in the spine. Okay he didn't say that but he did say it rode awfully. He now rides a Long GU (older one) and thinks it's awesome. So it's not the high bb. I think the probelm is the reach? on the Czar. (distance from BB to Headtube)
