I have Tiscali, overall quite good but I've had problems with the line being dropped (i.e. disconnecting and reconnecting) which I hear is common with Tiscali.

Tank had a MkI replica (think they came from the same factory but dont quote me) the downtube was made of cheese and it has dent on dents on dents, but it hasn't cracked in the slightest and is still going strong (used for street). Saying that he doesn't ride it anymore but dreams of one day building it up again. Sorry realise I didn't help at all with geometry but others have.

I got the 5600 this morning. Check out the Random photo thread for an idea of quality. I think they've lost some quality through resizing but all in all I love the camera. AND if you know what you're doing (which I dont) you'll be able to get more out of it, I've only played with the aperture and shutter speeds a bit to get an idea of some basics.

Yeah but my little pop up job in the corner says connected at 2mb but when you test it it's usually only around 1.6

There's different versions of Windows XP. There's the standard Windows XP (Home/Proffessional) and then there XP Media Centre Edition. I have a distinct feeling that the remote can only be used with the latter.

Jonny sounds like you're paying a lot there. I'm only paying £320 with just 2 years no claims and an accident declared. (that's on a 1.2 clio) I wouldn't have thought a 1 ltr corsa would be in a higher insurance group.

I agree that the 306 is a loverly car, brilliant to drive and mahoosive for a little car (4 bikes 4 people ***). I do however have to disagree with the reliability front. Mine wasn't the turbo just a standard 1.9 diesel and it kept breaking. I didn't rag it at all just one day decided to blow a gasket, then the next one, then the next one (it went through about 6 in a month luckily I only paid for one) Although, saying that I hit a pheasant that cracked the rad, so everything overheated and died, but I fixed that and it still broke so meh. I would buy another one though. My clio on the other hand, I've been ragging it about like a chav for the past year and it will not break, believe me I've tried. It doesn't sound too healthy but it just keeps on going. This is the first french car I've ever seen that wont let go of life.

Mine just arrived about 30 secs ago. Awesome fit - Awesome T-shirt Thanks muchly.

I'd have it in a heartbeat if my bank balance wasn't £1.19. Even if it's just the 8v model, anythings better than my 1.2 clio.

A few of us islanders are coming over tomorrow for a wee ride, weather permitting. Probably be at the guildhall/law courts just after 11 so if anybody wants to join us then come along.
-
well if you're speeding down a motorway and there are fook all other cars about then your covered. But if you're speeding over a bridge and cant see a broken down tractor or traffic jam the other side, you're going to crash! so where's the similarity to Shooting somebody?
-
There's speeding and there's speeding over blind bridges, round blind corners etc.
-
That's my point exactly. It's all well and good saying it's his life he knew the risks. BUT, what if that guy injured one of BEAU's parents? (God Forbid) It's then no longer just his life but the life of others he's endangered
-
Utter Utter knobs. Fair enough if they want to risk their own lives by driving/ridding like peni' but what about the people coming the other way that they could crash into?
-
Are skate shoes i.e. Etnies not comfortable enough. And if you want to wear a shoe that keeps your feet cool, just dont wear shoes. Ask yourself one question, is being penetrated by another man as you bend down to put them on comfortable?
-
In that case I wouldn't bother swapping over unless you feel your current brakes aren't performing well.
-
Dont get it because it's too powerful? Thats like saying ''your brake works too well, it doesn't slip at all when you do a gap, you always need slippage'' Okay so maybe 203's are a bit extreme for mods, but only because 180's are awesome too.

Change this thread title to ''The islanders chat'' If I can borrow the 360 for as long as I want why would I give you money for it? I joke I joke. Well if I ever get my job back I'll think about it, to be honest I need a laptop, new monitor, new tyres on mon bicyclete and random other things before Games consoles come into the equation. Did Phil put that stem back behind the fridge for me, I did check around 17:30 and it wasn't there, bet he was more interested with his sub-frame. Edit: Nobodys stupid enough to pay £500 or whatever it is for a PS3 and even if they did they wouldn't go online and advertise the fact, so don't get your hopes up for many names. (if I had one my name would be PUNCH 'LIL JOHN IN THE FACE TILL HE STOPPED BREATHING
-
Knob seriously i was going to be that
-
His pad looks a little wonky in the above pic. The secret of his talent?
-
Pull your finger out and lend me your 360 already, I'm bored here.

Next - 8/10: Was a good film overall but the ending just left me with a 'meh???' expresion. It sort of finished without rapping everything off, and not in a 'leaving it for the sequel' kind of way.
