  1. okay so everybody says some rim or another is made of cheese, in this case it's true. Now I'm no expert but this particular cheese is very strong (For Cheese) but as a material for a bicycle rim it's sub-par.
  2. Love it, Love Him I didn't think he would train on his silly light bike, only thought it would be for comps. Those Taps aswell, so weird so nice so smooth. (3:05) Travel to France?
  3. That was SWEET. looks like you put a lot of effort into it, and rightly so - commendations to you.
  4. tankletone got a lightweight front tyre (400-600 gramms can't remember) and pinched it almost instantly on a tap. So is saving a couple hundred grams worth ruining a ride for you?
  5. The last picture of ''the bike in action'' has somebody photoshopped it. The rims look like they're not round but made up of many flat spots.
  6. If the guy worked for Aston Martin and designed F1 cars then why oh why was he driving an Audi TT?
  7. Nope Ash wrong guy, that's Gannondorf. The Gurudo Thieves were skinny women with white clothes and ORANGE skin. Almost a cross between Kate Moss and David Dickenson
  8. I'd have to say I wouldn't do anything Big for a video for a couple of weeeks after the cast was off. When the cast comes off just ride around a bit, do a couple of backhops and just slowly start doing things when you're comfortable doing them.
  9. Sounds like you should get the missus a ring side seat to the Danny Vs Randomz fight night! Okay I don't want to upset you anymore than everyone else has Danny but.... If I was new on the forum and this was the first topic I'd read, I would think you were a bit of an arse from your posts (just looking at this thread) I know others have said things too but they seem to have been provoked by you and you posts seem to be slightly more personal. 1- The comment about being 20 so you shouldn't be on this forum was a bit harsh, I'm 21 and don't think there's anything wrong with ridding trials and being on the forum. 2- The comment about being gay bringing a bad name to Trials was a bit far. I'm not gay myself but I think there are at least a couple of members of this forum that are Bi and they could easily be offended by that comment. 3- When Ash Kennard got back from Greece (or wherever he went) he looked like one of the Gurrudo Theifs from Zelda:Ocarina of Time, which means you shouldn't take anything he says seriously. Again not wanting to anger you more, so everybody stop arguing after this post please. Kisses xxx
  10. with that low milage and in AWESOME condition, I've seen them go for over £2k
  11. Not made my mind up on the headtube area, but I would ride it with 385 chainstays and a slightly lower BB. Didn't like the shoppage on the photo's though, we get it you like pink.
  12. That sounds fine if you're thirteen, but if my GF gave me one of them now I'd ACT pleased but be thinking wtf? Bingo, that sounds like the best suggestion so far. And if possible (say she doesn't work weekends, and you've cleared it with her rents incase they've planned something) don't tell her, just turn up on a friday evening and tell her to pack some things. Suprises almost always get the best reaction.

  14. It was funny when you told me on Saturday, it's still funny now, lol.
  15. Me and Tankl-tone can do the Sunday. Sweet
  16. speak to Rich Pearson on here (karsonleveret?) He runs front and Rear BB7's and they seem to work.
  17. Rolls Royce type things?
  18. I know with mine it was the water bleed. The oil in maguras keeps the piston moving smoothly, I 'THINK' water seizes up the piston after a while, either by oxidizing the alu in the lever or whatever I don't really know, that's just my guess. I just give it a quick spray of lube every couple of weeks and it seems to keep it going.
  19. I want to meet Sony Zip and shake his hand. It's not easy to be universally hated in just one thread.
  20. was that directed at me? if so, I don't know what I'm doing - I just wrote down what works for me. (And it has worked on every lever I've tried it on) meh, if it helps him it helps if not then somebody else can make a suggestion
  21. could work, I've never tried that though. also helps if you spray a load in ther once it's assembled and leave it for 10mins to soak in. If possible squirt some in where the hose attaches to the lever (to make sure lube is on both sides of the piston/plunger)
  22. I think baby oil might be a bit too ''sticky'' Clean it all up again and use a thinner lubricant. I use some weird 3in1 silicon lube thing (note not silicon sealant etc) works a treat. Absoloutly drown it all in lube, then reassemble it the squirt more lube in with the lever pulled and keep pumping the lever whilst squirting lube in there. Then just rebleed your brake and it should be huncky dorey. Well it works for me. P.S. The silicon lube I use is like WD40 but it's actually a lubricant rather than a degreaser or whatever.
  23. Listen to the pipe he's knows his stuff. As a student it's all about Cash and basically spending the same money you'll get a better PC than a Mac Bring on the slating
  24. Facebook and the like are a good way of keeping in touch with old friends but using facebook etc to find new friends is a bit....erm......weird.
