Buy a scott. Dunno why I just like 'em. or try and get hold of an old orange p7 (think that's the one) my mates dad has one and seriously it's the lightest thing in the world, would put tarty Adams Czar to shame. or you can do what I done and buy a cheap second hand jump bike (like I did) and just wack the saddle in the air and buy a new cassette to give you more range throught the gears. or you could not buy a Carrera as I wouldn't trust halfords to make toast, let alone a bike. or go to Wight Mountain and see if they have anything in the second hand part of the shop, I might be able to swing you a bargain.
  2. Could you not shed that little bit more weight by mimicking the hole in the headtube on the underside of the BB shell/yoke area?
  3. Mahjong and Pong really anything that ends in ''ong''
  4. Don't worry shay my brake prefers it a little colder too. Saying that it's probably because I leave my bike in the car in the blistering heat so the water bleed goes all gay.
  5. how come everyone has pictures of their freshly cut legs? if I took a picture everytime I cut my leg, I'd have to take a picture everytime I went ridding.
  6. I always will / have and will continue to vote for Koxx Bloxx
  7. cool beans Mr I never go on the forum. I think we're going for the 10:15 or 10:45 Fast Cat. Dunno about Phil and Smo as neither of them have cars for some reason or other.
  8. Me and the Tankletone are ridding portsmouth tomorrow, around 11ish. Anybody else going to be about?
  9. This is Benji, He's a staffodshire Bull Terrier. He's about 11 (I don't know to be honest) is very sickly, barely moves anymore and has 4 different tablets a day for various Ailments. BUT I wouldn't change him for a thing
  10. USB connectivity...... .....so you can programme in your moves instead of learning them. Just stand on the bike and let it get to work, while you look smug.
  11. Plaz Pads don't exist even in slight wetness. so they're out. Koxx Greens wear quite quickly on grinds so maybe not. Koxx browns will work in wet, dry and on a deadish grind. But I would say that
  12. because people are replying just to say how pointless it is. I fancy Pompy on Sunday actually, see some people there. Woop
  13. First one for me too. The third one is a little too simple, just looks like the company name typed out in a standard font, doesn't grab your attention enough imo. But hey I could be wrong
  14. I'm just guessing that mine isn't tendonitis or whatever you said, as it only came about after my prolongued lack of ridding. Now that I'm back into the swing I have no more pain in my elbow/bicep, no matter how long or often I ride for.
  15. okay this might be the thread to ask this question........ about 3 or 4 years ago (I think when it was just echo and zoo) I obtained a booster like the one below.... Now it was exactly the same as this only had ADAMANT engraved into it, instead of echo. now was there another company called adamant or did deng realease a couple of products under the adamant name before going into the frames etc?
  16. Longer stem and it will feel a bit more comfortable to ride
  17. It should weigh the sum of all it's parts.
  18. None of those 'downloads' work. They all say the file is either unknown of damaged.
  19. This happened to me when I got back on the bike. I hadn't ridden for 3 months so after my first proper ride I was dead for almost 5 days. Right around the elbow is where it got me. I just rode when it felt okay to and it slowly got better. Now I can ride day in day out so it's all dandy. Have you recently taken time off your bike? could be a reason.
  20. Are those pads hitting the rim okay? looks a bit of a quick set up to me
  21. That sky is seriously BLUE! Almost Luminous
  22. That doesn't make much of a difference really. The BB height isn't the only bit of geo that affects it. My mate had an old Czar and absolutely hated it, now he's got an old GU and absolutely loves it, they were both high BB, but the reach etc was all to cock for him on the Czar. So my advise would be ride a HiFi first to see how YOU feel.
  23. So that's where my money went. Looks good only downside I can see is that they are VERY common at the moment, but that shouldn't matter if it rides nice.
  24. well dispite what I've written above I have a mate who's been ridding one for a while and it's fine. But he never does anything big i.e. dropgaps, so it could be dependant on the style of ridding you do. You may have fun setting up your brake with new pads as the rim is WIDE
