  1. I would but my bike is still broken. (sad face) Also Tanks bambino is Due on monday so doubt he'll be wanting to go very far, just in case
  2. hahaha, I was only kidding about the 1500 word essay. and it was Chris himself (doing the insane dissertation) that quoted the 2000 word essay. I'm just happy that my degree has no dissertation.
  3. my brake hose and lever are both brokded. New bits on order though. numberwang
  4. This time last week I was stood there thinking it would be kinda fun for like 10 minutes. Also I was there with a Jew and he said that he thought kids playing in there was great (which I then took as meaning we could ride there). I didn't ride there though (didn't have my bike) but apparently the police have stopped people from even smoking in there. The holocaust was not cool, so neither is disrespecting the people that died in it.
  5. Damn I have to write a 1500 word essay. and it has to be in in like 6 weeks. So I know how you feel monkey nutts. On a more serious note I have: - a major project to start (we're 6 weeks in) - Learn how to use GDL scripting and create masses of fancy shapes etc - fill a sketchbook that I was supposed to do in Berlin - create a 3min video of Berlin - Draw some historic columns (acurately) and design a garden temple - Once I've designed my building draw up a fire escape strategy and do drawing details for building Regs part B, Part M and Part K. - and afforementioned essay maybe I'll leave the forum now. It does help that my bikes broken
  6. Does your graphics card have 2 inputs on the back (most likely your going to have a vga and a DVI input) If you do have 2, which I think the 6800gt might, it will just be a case of getting a dvi - vga adapter (assuming you other moniter doesn't take a dvi cable) Edit: beaten to it
  7. i does make a difference if you have a 73mm body. 73 is 5 larger than 68 therefore there is 2.5mm less space on either side. doesn't sound like much but it does make a difference. also different bb's will have different designs/shapes or whatever so even with the same axle length two different bb's will differ in how close the cups are to the cranks etc.
  8. The try-all freewheels did have a problem with the lockring coming loose, and they were a b*****d to get to to tighten up again. The only problem with the spot welds, as has already been mentioned, is that you wouldn't be able to take it apart and service it. Saying that Tank had a dead ACS that was welded up, but a bit of wd40 squirted inside and it sorted itself out.
  9. ahhhhhhh.......it's 2005 all over again. not a fan of all this colourful coding stuff. bike looks like it would ride well though.
  10. I'm guessing no. Purely because (if you are going for something like deng forks) where the steerer is welded to the crown you get a tight bum hole-esque thing happening. I used to run a headlock and had to batter the bottom bit into the crown of the forks is was that tight a fit. Think I've explained it there......
  11. bikes are looking good dave. All you need now is a 26" Trials bike.
  12. Some people dont enter the Hampshire comps so ridding in mud for me isn't a big deal, hahaha. It's the same one I had on before, just got a new one as the old was balding. They are awesomely grippy tires though. Mowgli, I'm over Pompy on Wednesday as I'm off to Berlin at 5am Thursday morning so I'll grap the tool then. I always wanted to take a BB/middleburn tool to Germany.
  13. I'm gunna get some new cranks soon so will get a new bash then will also strip the lever blade down to silver (I have a silver czar one but it dont feel as good) I will also get rid of the white pedals. Nobody's spotted that yet.
  14. Okay so got some new tires, bars and front brake this morning (here's to getting in before hsbc went gay for Tarty on Friday morning ) Also put some black forks on and got rid of the orange front wheel, now the bikes a bit more discreet, I think anyway. and my 74kingz with mowglis steel rule.........
  15. James Quigley

    Okay

turn your pop-up blocker off and enjoy the fun.
  16. brake oil from cars is usually dot 4 or dot 5. which is WRONG for maguras. You want to use mineral oil. (i.e. not a "dot" whatever)
  17. I've used a headlock on a bb before. And I have echo crank bolts just laying next to me, give me the mbk and we'll talk
  18. Looks good. By any chance if you build up the GU does that mean there's an MBK for sale? (Cheap)

  20. Get a new GF that is a Techno-phobe. I cant stand women that have mobiles attached to their hands 24/7
  21. To be fair this isn't 65 pages of "tuck" pictures. I'd break it down as follows: 2 Pages - "oh my god did you stay on that wall or not?" 3 Pages - Pictures of "Tucks" 60 Pages - "There's no way that walls 49.43 inches, I've been there and measured it with my nipple height and it's only 47.39!"
  22. well if you'd stop pulling my trousers down then maybe you wouldn't be. and in response to Mr Fish.....I wouldn't mind rocking a hot asian and/or Isla Fisher (so long as she looks like she does in Hot Rod).
  23. I have a programe for unlocking Nokias, unfortunately it doesn't have the N73 in the drop down menu.
  24. I'd say possibly not. I think memory sticks are Solid State where as a HDD has moving parts. could possibly work but I wouldn't want a HDD rolling around in my car. (would be jumpy and potentially damage the HDD.
