  1. I'm loving far cry 2 at the minute. The only real gripe I have with it is the lack of a destructible environment. If you could blow up buildings, like say Bad Company, it would be loads more fun. Nothing to do with the xbox/Playstation debate but just thought I'd mention it.
  2. I think a lot of people know about the PS3 hard drive. On the plus side I don't THINK it voids the warranty on your PS3. However, I'm sure if you upgraded the hdd on your xbox Microsoft will laugh in your face when you present a warranty card.
  3. It's been linked to before, last year, so no copying echo. Can get them in Europe for 99 euros posted, which is a lot but still cheaper than echo ones. They have double seals, is loads of info on a site I can't remember, ended with .be though.
  4. I have owned both and can say the PS3 wins without a shadow of a doubt. all in all my PS3 cost me £300 with 3 games, hdmi cable, dvd remote and a 250gb hard drive.
  5. I agree with Onzaboy. I use one (almost) everytime I ride and it's awesome. Provides plenty of support but still allows movement. I've never felt like my ankle is in jepordy with it and my ankles shit.
  6. Real men eat it chunky. Can't go far wrong with bread, Nutella and a sandwich toastie machine
  7. Looks good Phil, just stick that sub on the floor though, can see it rattling the shelf a bit.
  8. I remember watching a T.V. show in January about how some parents get into £5k+ of debt over Christmas because their children demand ipods and games consoles etc. If I was said parent I tell the kid to get stuffed, if I didn't have the cash to spare. Sod getting in debt for your kid to be greedy. I haven't asked my parents for anything in recent years as if I want something I'll buy it myself. I still look forward to Christmas though as it's generally a merry day in my household, with early morning drinking and family fun. Plus laughing at my sister who's 25 and still acts like a 5 year old on christmas morning.
  9. I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now, I wanna watch now!!!
  10. I may just be blind but the only pic i can see of that bike in the link you posted was of the rider rolling down a wooden plank. hardly BIG ridding is it.
  11. Only episode I still like after 2 viewings is 'The Nightmare of Milky Joe' There isn't anything 'genius' about any of it.

  16. You're 21 or over right? From what I've heard from mature students (on my course) is that they didn't really need any qualifications to get in, a lot of places tend to accept mature students regardless. This is only based on what I've heard from students on my course at my Uni (Architecture in Portsmouth) so may be completely inaccurate. Best thing to do is get in contact with whichever uni it was you were looking at.
  17. Bad backs are fine and normal, people will suggest changing bar/stem setup, but my back has always cleared up through just getting used to whatever setup I've had. And I'm partial to a drop of Ruddles County myself, or a nice fuggle
  18. If I were you I'd do an engineering course. I'm about to enter my 3rd year in Architecture and so far am hating it (same problems with it as Ben Travis). Full of pretentious knobs and is far too monotonous. With engineering you can earn just as much if not more than an architect and the work is far more challenging and rewarding. (I only speak from second hand experiences).
  19. bike looks good...... and the close up of the rear tire is an awesome choice of shot, really helps sell the bike (sorry for being sarcy on the last comment)
  20. surely under any real stress the rear hub will twist? you say the guys riding it big, I just wonder about the accuracy of that comment. One last thing, does that rear wheel need truing every ride, I know of someone who has just taken the inner wall out (no squaring of the holes etc) and the wheel is always buckling at any hint of an uneven landing.
  21. If I could buy a decent phone without a camera on it I would!
  22. This is really Terrible news. Hobbsie was one of the wierdest funniest people I have ever met. This is a great shock and a tragic loss for his friends and family.
