Being a girl should make no difference for your ability to be able to work in a bike shop! hahaha

I was meerly pointing out that in the topic title (before he edited it) "expensive bikes" like he feels by spending all this money he's getting a bike which justifes the price tag, when the fact of the matter is that those "types" of bikes generally tend to have a much shorter lifespan than a cheaper deng (or similar). And to me personally it being "daddys money" does matter, because so many people are taking for granted the fact that there parents will spend £1k+ on a bike that there riding ability doesn't justify a bike which is that price. (I mean for elite riders that gram saved for ££ may be worth it, but for the average rider, someone starting out blah, its not nesseccary.) Alan its your money... you can spend it however you want, but when its someone elses money its totally different IMO, but thats just it really isn't it it is IMO and i guess I should sometimes keep out of these topics but I find it fustrating if you get me, the kid already has a Onza Blade and a ZHI Z2 according to his profile why does he need more? I'll stay out of this from now so people can leave constructive advise. My constructive advise would be don't buy a Koxx "light" frame 2nd hand off of anyone unless you know them very well. Its not a case of "being a basher" majorly, a bike could look totally spotless on the outside but had 1000+ hours worth of riding done on it, all of which will take a toll on the frame.

Hi Everyone Just Thought I'd Post A Video Of Me And A Friend.
Simpson replied to onza wanabe's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I really didn't like the tempo of the vid, it was too slow, had too many slow mo's, the music was boring. However the riding was really good! Liked that part a lot, I muted it and watched it in X1.5 and it was much better! -
True that, you seem I take a if it aint broke don't fix it approach, which in the long term has probably wasted a lot of time and money. To help you mate, I can do pretty much everything on a trials bike, I didn't go out to learn how to do it though, I learn't through watching friends and working at my LBS where it was basically my job to build bikes all day and night and the quicker you did it the longer you had to sit down and play games and in situations like that you generally learn pretty damn quickly how to sort out any problems! Find a good LBS a few of them home I don't touch with a barge pole, which are unfortunatly the 2 local to me! In fact, I don't trust any LBS's anymore! There work is shoddy and they charge you for it, which is a double cunt punch.

Depends on how much money Daddy has! I think all top end bikes are incredibly over-rated, yea it may get you those extra couple of inches but is it really worth it for a grand more? No! Out of interest what are you reasons for justifying buying such an expensive bike?

The change down heel toe then accelerating out of the corner in 2nd is full of win.

Judging from this video I laugh, and shout at myself on rides... period.... learn something new everyday. The vids banter, but it might be a "you had to be there" sorta vid! hahaha

Brought my ex a standard tomtom one for her birthday, was great picked up signal a lot quicker than my dads more expensive (but older) unit, also depends on your dash, the tomtom one fitted neatly inside my rev counter and sat there nicely no matter how many G's you tryed to pull arround a corner. My Dad also got some industrial velcro he "borrowed" from work, which ment that whenever we got a new car it could easily be mounted anywhere on the dash. (I'm not a fan of the windscreen sticky thing because I just found it gave me a too big blind spot no matter where I put it!) So yea nother thumbs up for the tomtom one!

If someone invaded your country, killed your Mum, your Dad family etc. And you had access to a small bomb, would you drive at heavily armed resistance, or set it off on ldn underground to make the biggest effect?
