EVERYONE has a degree now, there as basic as A-levels for well payed jobs now. For example my Dad got a degree equivalent at my age but at 35 had to do 7 days day release to become a manager at Fords, so for the first 7 years of my life I didn't know my Dad and he doesn't want that burden for me. You try getting any job in the city now and its a joke, there are people with degrees and years of experience who are unemployed and flooding the market, how is a kid just done A-levels supposed to compete with that? Why would I want to work for free / next to nothing? With uni I get my own place my own money I get to get away from my family and everything else, and it gives me much better job prospects in the future when I graduate. You can chat about "Alan Sugar" and "Richard Branson" type people all you want it doesn't make any difference to the facts.

I think it would have to be pretty damn bad to stop me riding. Ruptured my spleen on my bike, ruined my dream of being in the army - both my knees swell regularly when I knock them on my stem or whatever, rolled both my ankles, can't take impact to the chest etc. I aint stopping anytime soon.
