  1. Not if your putting other grips straight on? Surely not the greatest of ideas?
  2. Yea WD40 on your bar thats a GREAT idea! NAWT! To get them off get a flat head screwdriver between the bar and the grip, pull it up and spray hairspray down there, take the screwdriver out spin the grip with your hand and pull it off. As for grips, trial tech ones are fine'ish, have run them on pretty much all my bikes, the don't really tear unless you fall off at speed (like on my BMX not really trials) You can rip grips very easily if you put them on wrongly.

"someone" may have to try to remember the password and try it again hahaha I'll think up a new scheme to catch people out soon! So be awares! MP David Anderson only came about because I got banned from tf for 2 days and I couldn't think of anything better to do!

Just take a couple of steps back... Good riding guys.
  9. Didn't you save her name with the number? When I'm drunk I'm useless at saving numbers which I can text the next day, instead I save really descriptive notes about them (because I always think that it will nudge my memory in the morning) Current saved names include "Blonde girl from liquid who cuts peoples hair" and "girl who likes to dance in Talk" GREEAAAAT mike! lol
  10. Ok sorry for using 100% less reliable as a statement but your being pedantic, other than that my fact stands. got new lighter plastic pedals, they lasted.... 2 rides. My lightweight "street" frame lasted 3 backwheels, my "lighter" urbans bent when I did a 180, I cracked my Try All forks on both legs.Ok drilling the sidewalls on your rims may not make a huge difference, but the weight difference is f**k all as well, to substantially reduce weight you massivly comprimise strength (extreeme sweeping statement)
  11. Yea note to everyone not in the loop, Welshmen are cunts and will kick your car if you leave it in a carpark in Wales with an England flag out the window, that was probably the low point of the trip was coming out of CO-OP and seeing what the vandals had done, so if you go in the future keep your eye out on the locals! The next Friday got a new car and didn't have to pay any excess so its fiiiiiiine.
  12. Yea i did 70 most of the way back as well, don't fancy any speeding tickets! ....not
  13. Yea nick you grandma driver! You set off of least half hour before us, and we stopped for petrol and overtook you on the m6 did you get lost? hahaha
  14. Yea... if you don't have the money to buy light parts DO NOT BOTHER. They break 50X faster and are 100% more unreliable. You have just ruined your perfectly good pedals.
  15. I worked in a bike shop with my best mate..... did NOTHING. Was such banter.
  16. The course was mostly pretty technical, so was good for street and natual riders, and mostly street riders came. You can't not come to an event and criticise it. (who got their inspired tee for getting wet?)
  17. Food was bang on - pricey for what was really being offered though, £3 for a bacon butty and a small cup of tea, I know its not outrageous but when there was really no other food availiable local except sandwhiches and stuff, and seeing as you were pretty stuck on site, if it was cheaper I would have eaten more, seeing as it cost £100 in fuel to get there! haha Showers were spot on, better when not all the showers were on though! haha toilet facilitys were excellent. Wood supply was immense. Riding was great, thought there was enough for all levelsof riding, but maybe not enough of it, no offence to anyone, but noticed the not so good riders huddled around a couple of pallets while the more confident people had stollen some of the smaller stuff to make lines and the like. loved all the ballance beams and stuff had some fun up there, and the water ballance beam was a must! I'm not a good rider but kept finding new stuff that i wanted to do. so for me an average rider i think there was enough, but maybe not enough for people either at ends of the spectrum. I can imagine it being hard to make it "street" friendly because of run up's and the like but it would deffo be a good idea! I don't think enough people played on the ballance beams though really, though that kid did break his wrist jumping off it so maybe that was slightly understandale! i think even making a solid pallet set up could work and be more versatile in moving it about, and adapting it for different riding abilitys. Maybe next time have a stool up, because some people broke their bikes which put them out for the weekend which was a real shame and a small stall could "easily" have been set up for a couple of hours each day to help people out with bike related problems which could have made the weekend easier for some? Also i think that Tarty bikes should have fixed my bike free of charge for being a legend, because after the weekend i need, a new frame, new BB and a new freewheel which seems to have imploded from water damage. But other than that was a quality weekend thanks to everyone who got involved and organised it being such an amazing event
