Yea. I had this prob. put in a bb spacer not a good idea as it will thread but it all needs changing anyway, so long as you dont get chain suck from a doggy link, or bent chainring, a gap a mill or a mile is fine.

its not nylon but thats what i got told it was! my t shirts prob got nylon in it lol, ill try a patch, what can go wrong if not its just going in the bin! if not ill see how the gaffa tape holds! Just seems a waste to throw it away

I'd say get a new 1 because i would just want to up-grade the frame and what better reason can you need! however if your really tight or you and your frame are un-separable, weld it its supposed to make it stronger anyhow

Everyone says wear a helmet but surley thats personall prefrence? If he cracks his head open on a raw edge thats his fault, i ride without a helmet as i don't like it on my head and can't be bothered to carry it if its only a small ride! stop giving him stick. In my way I have the best of both worlds! I have a deore V-front brake, with a sex cable and good pads, its good braking don't go to front wheel much but it very reliable and use it for general stopping to save my magura and its pads, i have a magura on the back which is alot of effort and needs alot of maintenence in my eyes, its been sink bled, re-bled, new pads, new pads, pads not set up square, broken tpa, but now is SEX and was well worth the minor problems faced but makes you take care. Makes you think 2ce sometimes!

Isn't a 24" classed as a stock bike because it doesn't have the bash plate to balence on? or it may well have ive never actually seen 1!

I had a 2.7 maxis XC downhill tube and shorty after putting it in it started making a sound like a rocket ship! My rim tape had come aside and the tube must have had a slight pinch or had ripped slightly against 1 of my drilled holes, the hole is literally this big . and apparently i cant use a repair kit because it is a nylon tube not rubber, i really can't afford a £7 tube though!
