  1. I meant, why would he only try one if hes goes rear disk
  2. Eh? Why would you wanna go rear disk?
  3. I can get spongeyness outa them.. thats why i dont like them...
  4. I didnt explain it right, i meant i doubt he will notice a diffrence in built quality more than EP, of course he will feel the EP diffrence, but not much diffrence... if you get me?
  5. We love it The try-all freewheel has too many EP for my liking.. so do CK's, i just dont really like the feeling of them lol The Tensile is working amazing, NEVER skipped, thats the only problem iv had with it (loosening) and since i weled it just before, it hasnt loosened... it isnt lots of weld either, so its easy to brake that bit of weld off, and then get inside the freewheel... Im doubting you will feel the diffrence too much
  6. Meh. Just serviced and welded it, jobs a gun'un
  7. Il listen to ANYTHING.... Apart from greenday hate that shit! n stuff like rasmus n stuff... I also like really heavy stuff... dunno why just like it... and im a so called "chav"
  8. I e-mailed them yesterday, but seeing as "their internet sever is a twat" (yeah right ) then they NEVER e-mail back.. Il just ferking weld it Or maybe a tiny bit of araldite?
  9. Exactly what i was trying to say! It even loosened off when i went to meet louise (like 300 metres from my house...) then i "hand tightened" it, and then walked back to my house (again... 300 metres) and it was loose by the time i got back... I havnt opened it or ANYTHING, i havnt done anything apart from put it on, and ride with it... Im going to put the tiniest amount of weld on tommorow after i have cleaned it and regreased it! Does anyone know what grease to use? Sprayable white teflon grease any good?
  10. hmmm, you not lost the spring from the pads?
  11. Everyone go and have a look at their freewheels... Lift rear wheel off floor as spin is slowly so you can see the freewheel spining slowly... Then stop the wheel, and pull crank up asif your doing some pedals hops... the lockring ALWAYS spins ACW, because the freewheel engages as soon as it trys to go CW...
  12. If the lockring tightens clockwise (normal threads [like on a bottletop]) then, then your freewheeling along, when the freewheel outer body (with spikes on) is spinning anti-clickwise, the way that the threads on te lockring loosen... then the outer body will spin the lockring loose... Thats what is happening on mine...
  13. You dont really get me here lol its fairly hard to explain without you being here with me.. lol Tommorow after my exams, im gonna look at my old ACS and the Tensile to see if the lockrings pin the same direction, if they do, im sueing If they dont, ferk knows whats happeneing...
  14. Ok.. When a freewheel spins, it spins anti-clickwise (depending on which side you look at the freewheel) we are looking at the side which the lockring is on.. so its spinning anti-clickwise... When i tightened the lockring, i had to turn it clockwise, for it to tighten... so, when the freewheel was spinning ACW it was loosinging the freewheel, which loosened if i turned it ACW... If you get me?
  15. I was reffering that last post to an ACS... To tighten the Tensile, i had to do it clockwise...
  16. , but if you had to turn it anti-clockwise, then the freewheel would tighten the lockring when it spins... not loosens it...
  17. No you dont Do you? The tensile is loosening the exact same way as the ACS did... Twat hahahahaha.
  18. What the ferk.... I was riding today... and my freewheel lockring came loose. So i tightened it, but i had to tighten it in the same direction as an ACS, so the lockring had to turn clockwise to tighten... the same as an ACS so when i was freewheeling, the lockring came loose... What the hells going on there?
