  1. Very true lol But i havnt ground mine for atleast 3 months now, due to it cinting and cracking too easy. Il get a pic of how many pads iv been through since the biggining of this year soon.... lol (noting iv had atleast 13 more pairs than this, just sold the backings to people for £1 lol) Since april iv been through all them pads^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ And before that, i had about 13 more pairs like i said, which didnt last too long either lol B) (i have more pad backings n shit, but i cant find them :ermm: )
  2. One time when my girlfrind came out to watch me riding, i was rinsing EVERY thing lol, i was just going for really stupid lines and pulling them off really smooth and going bigger than ever lol (must be the vibe of love :D ) but when she isnt there, i cant do the same things :ermm: B) B)
  3. cool, good lad, get with this "steph" :ermm: shes helping you get better B)
  4. Why not make a sticky that goes to another sub forum, like the "FAQ" forum, so when you go into the bike pics thread, it doesnt take 2 years to load? what i mean it, make it like the FAQ part of the forum, but make is strickly for bike pics only? That way it splits up all the bikes into diffrent threads and makes loading time ALOT let! (Y) Ahh, my wonderful mind (N)
  5. (Y)--> QUOTE(danny B @ Oct 24 2005, 03:09 PM) ← i ain't used the echo ones so don't know but i find that me plazzies are really good so just thought that i would defend them first. yeah, i am using plazzies now, but, mine have worn down VERY quick for some reason, iv had to swap one for a heatsink blue and the other is near enough on the backings! iv only had them for 2 months max!!
  6. any good? Are them Echo pads any good? has anyone used them? they better than the plaz pads? Also these pads....
  7. It would be very weak actually, maybe he means 12t on the back?
  8. Its in the lake district, (i think  ) lol, well near there lol. anyways, i might come down if i can get there. Its a fair whack away from reading mate lol
  9. It doesnt though, all it does when it freezes is the water expands, making the pads push out, and lock on, all i do in the winter is take a lighter with me and if my brake starts to freeze a little, just warm the hose up a little bit till it melts, and so on. I keep my bike in my house anyways, so it wont freeze in there over night....
  10. I know what you mean corish! Im a "chav looking lad" at the moment, im wearing a lacoste tracksuit, adidas climacool trainers, lansdale T-shirt, just because i wear these clothes all the time, doesnt mean im a chav? does it? NO i didnt think so! I hate violence/trouble! the only fights i start are with my sister ^_^ :P (well, used to  ) most of the people i hand around with, wear the same clothes as me, but they act the same as me, none of us smoke, i dont drink (dont think many of them do either) none of us take drugs... i know the magority of people my age for about 2 miles round my house, im mates with most of them, but i know who to talk to and who not to go near! (that doesnt make sence, i know lol) when i went to fort will, all the "greebo" looking people, were looking at me weird, thinking i was gonna nick somthing and all lol, but when i started to talk to will arnold, everyone become freindly when they seen what i could do on a bike  and realised i was a rider :o most people that wear tacksuits and stuff is because they are "training clothes" and most of the people that wear them play football and go to the gym and stuff, so wear them all the time cause they are used to wearing them. but some are still little twats that start trouble n stuff. I UNDER STAND CORISH, YOUR NOT ALONE ON THE FORUM :S
  11. Still breaks em though, i ripped my bottom bracket out my frame doing it like that, and all the threads came out with it, so now i have to threads in my frame!! You dont really wanna do that, its annoting (intill you have brains like me) and bodge it up really nicly! ^_^
  12. Iv had a water bleed for ages now. on my old maggies, i had oil bleed for about 5 months of having them, they were just crap all the time, i bled then properly about 6 times, and still crap, so i flushed the brake out with water and then used the water, it was amazing!!!! lol Adam@tartybikes bled his brakes with bloody orange juice haha, it was so sticky and slow lol EDIT: even when i was riding last night, someone asked "whys your brake fell so fast to pul with no flex or anything at the lever?" i explaing its bled with water, i got on their bike, and the lever was sooooo slow!!! lol
  13. If you already have a normal ASC freewheel (unwelded) and its fine (all the bearings and stuff, and pawls and stuff) but it just keeps coming loose, just take your crank are off the bike, then put it in a vice (so the frewheel is facing upwards) then take the lockring off, DO NOT TAKE THE TEETH OFF THOUGH!! (once the lockring is off, dont take the teeth bit off where the chain would go on, dont even pull it up slightly, unless you have about 4 hours on your hands to put all the bearings back in  :P Then put some greash inside the freewheel (on the bearings of course) then put the lockring back on, and get someone you know with a MIG welder and ask them to weld it shut (you should know where to put the welds) And then you have a freewheel that NEVER comes loose again  ^_^
  14. KMC cool from www.supercycles.co.uk Get the 1/8 version (wide) then it will defo work  Should last around 10months(ish) (mine did, then snapped 4 times in 1 day, so i bought a new one, and hasnt snapped yet ^_^ )
  15. You's would be saying that, because you's are sponcered by heatsink  If you ever try the plazmatic pads... you would be amazed ^_^
  16. My lock ring kept coming loose all the time, so i eventually tryed the threadlock approach, didnt work, so my dad welded it shut for me, its worked a fooking treat, i suggest... do that
  17. KingstoWn ^_^ Yeah, il take you there, its really fun, i havnt been for AAAAAGES!! lol might pop up tommorow to see if all the pallets n stuff are still there that used to be
  18. My mate snapped some on the stearer tube, the lad he bought em off said they were fine (even though we could see the crack ) so he put the on his bike, done a gap, and when he put his front wheel down, his bike went from a 1085WB to a 1340WB LMFAO!!!
  19. Thats one thing i dont like about having to spend £700 on a frame....
  20. mwahahahaha!!! you cant fool me :P :P B) Still kinda bigish though, im can just about to get that high, but i struggle to get the rear wheel up :) (Y) Nice one still!!
  21. Time and time again, freewheels dont explode when the lock ring comes off, they have just simply... fell apart. blowing up is where you go to do a gap, and half your leg gets blown off and your cranks blow 4 meters away :) (Y) :P
  22. but thats how i stripped my threads (thats a lie) but surly if i did do it like that, then it would just strip em?
  23. Mint ride today! Really well and chilled out! That young-un on the monty... world chamion 2012! lol IMO hes better than ashley butler! and hes only 10 lol! My bike worked really well today and i rode it really well aswell! lol In short, really good ride! lol
