  1. Pritty shure thats an 05, same as mine ...prepare for back pain
  2. Just watch a stack of vids...and then watch some more.....and if you ride with friends that can do it watch them. Just be patient and you will soon pick it up, but the general idea is to use your legs and body weight to balance.
  3. You could use the pen tool and create each section into a solid shape (remembering to make seperate layers for each) , after that you would need to delete the paths and then bring the fill down to 0...then just add a stroke at what ever thickness you want, which would make the lines look better and crisp. Either that or be really careful and erase the lines with the erase tool? hope this help Forgot to mention: you need to fill the path before you delete it, thats what make it a solid shape.
  4. There are places that sell multicoloured spokes, mainly bmx based shops. I don't know about fluorescent....but you can certainly get green. try somewhere like this? http://www.winstanleysbmx.com/category/592/Spokes hope this helps?
  5. Just go to Supercycles, they sell lengths of braided hosing for £11...so a cross may be cheaper.
  6. Whats the most stupid/funny bodge job you've even done to your bike? A few years back I some how rounded off ALL my brake mounts on the back and held the four bolt mounts on with jubilee clips, strangely it worked better. recently I had to help a friend angle grind a bb to get his crank arms off because the threads had died, Only thing was the remaining bits were now stuck in the arms and we had to use a blowtourch, a vice, a socket piece and an assortment of threaded bar to get them out. So I was wondering whats the worst you've done?
  7. I run Koxx Bloxx browns on the back, I've had them like two years and they still have loads of material left. I run them on a grind and they work great, they just seem to make grinds fade abit faster than other pads I've used...but have lasted far longer than any I've used. They also seem to work what ever the weather, so in my opinion they are a good investment. Koxx browns (If you can get hold of any nowdays)
  8. Hi, I've just been given some Onza Lime brake pads and I just wanted to know if they are any good. I currently run Koxx Bloxx (yellow) on the front with a smooth rim and I must of had them at least two or more years now so its time for some new ones, and was thinking of just sticking these on. Good idea?
  9. I don't have disk brakes, but would'nt some white spirits clean them? Just like you clean tar off your rim that 'should' work. After you've got all the dirt and stuff off just give them a quick wipe with a damp rag and let them dry.
  10. A brake booster would aid the rigidity of the frame, but its not a must have. If your that bothered about flex then by all means get one because they do work, but the Blade should be okay without one. As for two or four bolt I'd go two bolt, simple because I had a four bolts for a period and it was pants. The only other thing I can comment on is the Tensile (as its the only thing on the list I have), they are great freewheels for the price, mine has lasted for ages and has'nt skipped once, although I know of a few going wrong and even exploding, in general they are very good. hope this helped.
  11. Well, I think the kids that stand around and ask silly little questions like "how much did that cost?" and "can you do a wheelie?" are somewhere at the top of my list. The chavs that ask "sellin it" and in general the words wheres your seat? also annoy me. On that note how good would an indoor trials "park" be!?
  12. I personally don't wear gloves, but when I did I went with the Hebos'. They grip well whilst being light.
  13. looks like a great started bike, go for it mate :P dave :-
