I should think it would fit. the axel width are the same as any other arnt they.
-
Arn't the monty axels 110mm? But isnt that so you can run cams on the outside. But! Those ice frames have that other chain tensioner incorporated into the frame, so you may get away with it. If in dout ring supercycles or tartybikes?

Which Way Does The Drive Side Of A Bb Tighten Up
Dave! replied to mountian goat's topic in Trials Chat
Would'nt it be clockwise? because as you pedal your cranks go clockwise so it would help tighten the bb...where as the other way would eventually losen it. I may be wrong, I can never remember which way it tightens. -
Don't Lizardskin make lever grips/covers? Pritty sure most places like Halfords sell them. Just looked: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165608

just slam a grind on it! Filing it won't do much at all, just make it slightly rougher. Where as a grind will give the pads something to hold on to! And onza rims are pritty good for holding grinds, I've got a hog and its now had like 8-10 grinds? still works fine. So just get a grinder with a metal grinding wheel and entre the realm of "the grind"

I've only ever rode a double disc set up once (for like 5mins) and in that short space of time I didnt really like the feel of a disc on the rear. I use/run a double maggie set up personally, beacuse I like the bite and hold of a magura with a hefty grind. But latey bin considering going front disc mainly due to the continuous failure of hold on the front But I suppose its all down to personal preference.

The rip has v-brake mounts, so I'm guessing you have to stick to a 20"wheel. Unless you can somehow move the mounts/brake calipers down...
-
What chain are you running? Because some chains need to be put on a certain direction, like the KMC kool chains. If the chain is'nt on correctly it can jump/skip. But if this is'nt the case then tension could also be a factor. Hope this helps.

So I Have A Problem Removing My Freewheel...
Dave! replied to DannyBaz's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I once cut a freewheel off with an angle grinder, went into the threads but they still worked. Would'nt recommend it though. Why not just take it to your LBS and get them to do it. They normally have more tools and the workspace, and its just easier. -
Another vote for skate shoes. I wear DVS skate shoes when I ride and they are really comfy and grip well on the pedals.
-
I'm still using my Shimano UN53 which I got like 2 years ago. So I'd recommend the latest version, the UN54 or what ever it is now. But the range of BB's on Tartybikes are practically the same BB, just with a different logo on.

Trialtech foam grips are the best I've ever used, they last much longer then other foam grips and they are thicker, so it achually feels like a grip instead of a slightly cushioned handlebar. So, I'd recommend Trialtech foams. P.S: The more you ride with them the more cushiony they become.
-
Just do it the old fashioned way, with a screw driver and a lighter and get digging it out the road. They normally have pure(ish) tar on the joins of the roads from where they've laid new bits of road. But to be fair a grind is less hassel in the long term.

Croco browns on a beasty grind.
-
Yes, can't see any reason for it not to fit. The only difference is the monty bolts are shorter in length.
-
You need to measure from centre of the front axel to the centre of the back axel. edit: darn, beaten to it!
-
So, you took off the part that keeps your bearings safe from the elements.....in order to save like 10g? Why? you're not going to feel any difference and the bearings will die in half the time.

Awesome, is there anything he can't do? and is that slayer I can hear in the background?

How long have you been riding? 7 years :$ Favourite or dream bike? don't really have one. Best place to ride? local doctors....or bunny! Preferred brake set up? double magura Preferred size, 20" or 26"? 20" Favourite make or manufacturer? not really How often do you ride? most evenings Best or favorite trick/move? drop gaps, or wheel swaps Bigggest gap? erm....7.5ft flat to flat Biggest drop? i have no idea Preferred ride(street, rocks, etc)? STREET What do you most want to be able to do on your bike? bunny hop back wheel the bloody thing! long wheel base for the lose Helmet or not? as and when I need it.
-
Your best bets any second hand onza really, they are pritty good bikes in general and exellent to start on. Plus you can normally pick up some amazing bargins.
-
I "think" my best is about 7.5ft. (or there abouts) but im stuck at that, can't seem to get any bigger...maybe its psychological
-
I generally find short wheelbase means for better bunny hops and flicky moves....longer frames seem to be better for gaps etc...
-
hop up a curb! (many moons ago)

There isnt a trials profile hub...its a racing bmx hub which means its lighter and runs 10mm axel, so people use them for trials.
