Its all in the knees, gotta get them tucked in! Also trying to reach out with the back wheel to effectively shorten the gap. ( If that makes sense.)

ISIS are stiffer, and are suppose to be better because they have the grooved shape. But they are more expensive. Although I've always just used square taper BBs', mainly because it was cheaper. But over the years I've found they are just as good in the long run, especially if you get a decent one with good bearings. I've had my Shimano UN53 for about 5 years now....no problems at all. Hope this helps.

There is more to it than just being better for ground clearance etc...Although these are advantages. FFWs' help with engagement, in the sense that its quicker. (bare with me) Having the freewheel up front reduces the distance from the cranks, so when you pedal the pawls can engage faster. (regardless of engagement points) Having the freewheel at the rear means by the time you've pushed down on the pedal and the kinetic motion of the chain has reached the freewheel you might as well have lost an engagement point. To put it simply, freewheels at the rear mean more play at the cranks. Unless I'm just making up a huge chunk of physics.

Had my tensile nearly 4 years, still runs as smooth as the day i got it. I'd stick with it...

Just divide the front by the rear to determine if the gearing will be too hard/easy.....i.e 18/12=1.5. So every turn of the cranks turns the wheel 1.5 times. Where as my bmx has 28-9 ratio.....so thats like 3.1, twice as hard to pedal. Just comes down to personal preference I guess. But as said above 18-12 is what most people use.

Yeah, sounds good.

Once or twice a week, about 5-10 hours? Used to ride everyday at one point.

I remeber the old T-birds, the seats were MASSIVE. Think it was late 1990's/2000. Rode pritty well as I recall.

The 20" ashtons look foul IMO. But for £80 you can't go wrong, Bargin!

Lucky gits, I don't even have a garden!

A benny hill tune would be funny. Speed up the vid, and get chased round.

was interested, so wacked it into google.... "If your leg cramps occur during or immediately after exercise, this may be a sign your muscles aren't getting an adequate supply of oxygen, or that toxic chemicals produced by the activity of busy muscles aren't being cleared fast enough from the area. For most people who are otherwise healthy, this is a common problem while the muscles get used to an increased amount of exercise, and it should settle as the body adapts to this new healthy habit. But leg cramps may be a sign of arteriosclerosis (or 'hardening of the arteries'), where the arteries are clogged by fatty deposits, limiting the supply of blood to the muscles." it may help.

I was always told eating bananas helps stop gramps. Dont know if this was a total lie, but hey more potassium.

Why not just ring up first thing tomorrow? Be quicker than waiting for someone to reply with a quote.

Thats insane. Would some form of expanding foam or glue work? some thing that actually wedges it in....but the only problem with that idea is you'd have a job and a half getting it out once it had set.

The only thing I can think of is the time I backwheeled this wall about 7 brick high, nothing amazing but my brake failed and I whipped out. Landed with both my legs in the flower bed and the rest of me on the floor with the bike entwined around my head. Oh yeah and the time I backward stoppied down a slope by accident, scared the crap out of me!

You could try a monty hose splitter? and feed it through your frame....but I've never used one so I don't know what they are like. But simple things like tucking your crossover around itself to keep it out the way of your feet can help. Failing those ideas just get a braided hose.

The only "rigs" I know you can purchase are like skate ramps. Like Ali said they are custom made, like the rig onza use they built that in their workshop. only thing I can suggest is find (cough) some of those industrial cable spool?

make your own?

If you take your time to prepare the rim properly(sand/mask) then use a quality paint, with a few layers of undercoat it should last ages. Make sure the surface is dirt/oil free and has a good key and your away! I'm sure you can get paint that once sets is like plastic in texture and what not. that might work? You could get it sandblasted? just a thought.

For the benefit of you NM's, just thought I'd post this, bit late notice. Should be good weather, all are welcome...etc.
