  1. Can someone please confirm me of this please, as i wil buy a new 26" frame soon, and it will make up my mind of which one to get... Does the High BB Long Pitbull , ride pritty much the same as the Short GU frame? i ask as i really would like a GU, but i have been hearing that its nasty to ride.. and my mate has got a High BB Pitbull, which is exactly the same geo(same stays,headset angle etcetc) , except the bb is 10mm lower.... would 10mm extra rise over 50mm really be that noticable? is the GU horrible for front wheel taps? and what one is generally stronger? Mabe you could all vote for what frame is preferd... thanx

    K+n Filters

    K&N WILL make your car more juicy because the car has to keep a certain Ratio between fuel and air.. the mix has to be rite for the car to work properly/safely. The ecu will detect an increase in airflow/density and alter the ecu map to keep the fueling ratio the same. if you have a carb, then you will need to get it Rolling roaded so as it can be mechanically set up. not doing this will make your car slower than not having a k&n (by fractional ammounts -but cos of the added noise, it makes the car sound faster and gives a false illusion, so people think its actually got faster when it hasnt!) if you fit a K&N and dont alter the fuel mix, the car will run lean, making the conbustion temps increase, giving a poorer conbustion, higher engine running temps, and can cause Pinking / detonation.. which is where the fuel mix in the combustion chamber detonates due to the increased temp, before the spark plug sparks, causing a massive drain in power and possible engine failure in serious cases! so if you want a k&n , u will spend more on petrol and if you have carbs , get it set up properly.
  3. yea prob am more then.. to be honest, i no a lot about the workings and how to get big, and i no quite a fair ammount about steroids etc... but im not clued up on body fat.. the 6% was a guess , comparing to other people that know there actual % i have got poss 1% more body fat on me there than usuall, as in that pic , i had been filling my face till i felt sick with chicken, noodles, rice etcetc for about 2 weeks before.. (Y)

I found now im geting of size and much stronger, i tend to snap bars and chains much easier <_< lol i started training at the jym when i was 20 weighing 9.5 stone @5'9" , had a bit of a brake for 5 months when i was 21, now im nearly 23 (ish) and weigh 11 stone ... and i have an extreamly low body fat -not sure what exactly, but must be around 6-8% mark

  6. thats fine.. but i think maby you shuld use atleast 5kg.. I do 3/4 sets of 12 @ 60kg ... i fort i was only doing 40kg at 1st as i only have 2 x 20kg dumbells on the bar.. but then i found that the bar weighs 20kg on its own! :blink: Rember peops, its not so much on how much weight there is on the bar... its wether you can maintain the 3 sets , keeping the Correct technique.. Bit like pushups... u can have a 100kg backpack strapped to ur back to make em harder, but if you dont no how to do pushups and are one of these people that just tilt there knees, your not gona get anywhere! its much much better to complete 3 sets of 10/12 pushes than to do 2/3 sets of 5 reps! and if half way through say the 2nd set, you find its getin too heavy, lower the weight slightly, or get someone to help you pull the load.. Dont just stop thoo! cos its when ur at this stage, that itsworkin best!
  7. -Trialsking.... Start lifing weights as soon as you start puberty..... Cos this is when your HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is at its peak -the Hgh casues call manipulation (splitting) hence the reason you growth spurt... and when you hit your growth spurt, you will be producing Testosterone... which increases Male charaistics and promotes Cell Growth.. So combining Testosterone and HGH, you are Duplicating cells , then Doubling them in size.. So if you train hard on the weights durin puberty, it will give similar effects to taking Steroids and HGH injections in one go, and will concentrate your testosterone towards muscle growth.. After all, steroids are pure Testosterone (of varied types) the reason we shrivle up and eventually die when we get old is mostly down to the HGH system slowing down.. so cell reproduction becomes less and less.. meaning less dead cells are replaced. ... ... Anyway... About the whole 6 pack issue.... Be warned... if you want a 6 pack, Even if you are bodybuilding, its better to do a light weight and lots of reps (till it hurts) / lots of situps while holding a light dumbell.... As apposed to trying to pull heavy weights like when training most other muscle groups.. Reason being.... if you Build your stomach with heavy weights, it will start to stick outward, and each of the 6 Ab muscles will grow Longer (towards ur sides)... and no longer give that 'Square Block' shape anymore.. more of a Aerobic excersize is best for your abs... but only do it once/twice a week at most!
  8. Myself and Travis welcome the offer to test your new pads... Trav rides mod (Python) and im stock (GU -cummin in 2 weeks time) we could probally help you quite well with the surface variation testing too, as i like to have a medium grind, but have just ordered a new 48mm Echo rim, so i wil have chance to test on smooth serfice, and then after the 'Novelty' of having annodized sidewalls has worn off, i shall have my usuall medium grind. so theres a couple of surfaces covered already.. we are both very picky to how we like our back brakes to work, both prefering 100% lock, no modulation,we both put a Lot of demand on our brakes,and if they dont feel up to scratch, its very off putting! :S, but i also used to run a rear disk, for about 3 years! so i no very well how modulation shuld feel like :) we have had experiences with, koxx blox, plazz Crm, Spanish fly, maggy black, koolstop, Sticky pads, Zoo! pads, rimjam Reds and Blues..   9. lol... its mad isnt it! people think that cos im muscly and in good shape, that i am super fit etc.. but i can barely swim a whole length of my local swimingpool!! i can ride me trials bike pritty far, but i think thats more stamina as i have rode it for like 5 years now. but i tend to find my legs burn, and feel like theyll cramp up, before i come physically nackered.

  12. true, it can make u more fit... and more sramina etc..... but its not good to mix too much aerobic exercise with anerobic exercise, cos it just doesnt work... if you want to have a decent six pack and definition (without lookin like a 14yr old skinny boy that finks hes got the body of peter aundre! but in reality he just looks like he has been starved half to death!) then you need to Grow the muscles before cutting up etc... if you try and train aerobic while trying to build muscle, you will not grow quick at all... as the aerobic will be making u use up your stores of carbs etc which is required by your muscles to grow. i find that riding my bike gives me plenty a work out , it does me legs fine... i never train my legs at the gym, and if i did, they would be stupid size as there already big from riding 5 years.. but riding the bike too much is also bad when trying to build up muscle!
  13. i dont use any of these tremills , rowing machines and excersize bikes... i dont see the point, i think there more for fat people trying to loose weight.. and by 'fat' i mean chunky!!! not someone with a bit of a bellie!
  14. Just a lil bit of fun me and me mates have when we goto the jym... theres an excersize machine with a digital display on it.. RPM is one of the displays on it... so each week we see where our legs redline :D basicall put it on easiest setting, then just power at it with all u got for a few secs.. My legs redline at 223 RPM !! anyone else tryed it?? whats urs?
  15. A static 720 degree spin from trackstand, on the FRONT wheel!! i can do 360 quite easy, 360 - 450 on occasion... but the 720 was a 1 off! lol... did it on the flat of a slippery halfpipe... was amazing!

  17. if you want more definition you have to go through a 'fat' looking stage 1st.. you eat loads of carbs, protien etc.. lots of meat and pasta and you will start to loose ur definition, but ur muscles will be growing underneith.. then when you feel you have trained enough, you change ur workout and diet.. do a more aerobic excersize and eat more salads etc.... then the layer of carbs / fat thats covering up your definition will get used up and dissapear.. leaving you looking toned and very defined. (cutting up) but if u wana get bigger, u cant really gain size while looking ripped at the same time.. u need to have the stock up of carbs etc for your body to take nutrients from while in the process of rebuilding muscle tissue. anyways, i looked for ur pic and couldnt find it... post it again.. edit- was it you or Michael Hardman that said they have a pic??
  18. lol, cheers dude... its strange when in the gym, just with the rate everythin blows up! and all the lil veins dilate! i look like a lil bodybuilder... but people dont realise that you have to get like that when in a workout, to have a nice 'relaxed' shape. i dont like posting pics to be honest neither.. but i will get one of at the gym next time i go. i feel i no enough about the subjct for me to achieve what i want.. plus im the sort of person that asks a lot of questions and takes it all in lol :blink: but your rite about the knowledge thing... theres blatently loads of kids out there with degrees in body science etc that are either obease or like stick insects!! >_<

But still YOU muppet.. im bigger than alexx by the looks of his pics(no offence alexx).... looks good though.. i havent got a tensed pic at mo... heres a 3 month old pic when i just woke up,with a hangover, so i look like shit, but im completly relaxed and i dont look that big in it because of the way im standing.. im about a stone bigger now, and when i tense i literally blow up in size.. ill get a tensed pic later this week

  22. the arguement for the past 4 pages was about gaining 2stone of Muscle in 2 months ! my point being, you cant! with my kidney illness i put on 5 stone of water retention in 2 weeks! its called Edema. it stayed for 4 weeks while on high doese of medication, then went back down to 10 stone in 3 days!!! so yes, its obvious u can get 'Fat' or bloated with water to the extent of a 2 stone increase, but u cant put on 2 stone of muscle! if anyone dont belive me about me putting on 5 stone of fluid in 2 weeks.. then i can prove it.. i dont want people calling me a liar...just ask and i will post pics etc.
