watching it last night, and a programme called master of champions came on.there was some guy who could drift his car and cut a perfect slice of cheese whist doing so,some bird who could hit the center of a target with a bow an arrow, only thing was she did it with her feet, but the best bit,was the uni-cyclists.they set up a course, and had 2 uni cyclists compete for best uni-cycle rider.both from different disciplines, one guy was street, and doing loads of spins an stuff, and the other guy was trials, doing some pretty nice gaps, and other big power moves. Anyone else see it?if so,what did you think? Carl

i dont think you should worry,im pretty sure that most of the people on here that build there own wheels dont worry about yours.i've built my own wheel, only the one, didnt have a bloomin clue how tight do do the spokes so i did what i thought felt right, and its fine.and i get a mate to build my other wheels.he didnt read up,he just laced it and messed about till it felt right, and, shock horror, its fine! and anal, that wheel i got off you 2-3 years ago is still dead straight and never been fiddled with once, even after the 7ft drop to front wheel i did at nass, and all the other various front wheel drops. hahah indeed i am still riding... although it's a bit sketchy gunstan...white ranger?... what happened to him the other night?you came out in orange and denim!let down Carl -
i know some people sent pashley forks off to leeson to get disc mounts welded on,but i cant afford that, lol.a family friend said he'll do it for me (he's a top precision welder) but i need some info on heights,e.g. how far up the fork leg the mount should go an stuff.and also,if anyone has done the same thing themselves to pashleys,do they have any designs for the mount itself? i really am skint,so like i say,i can't afford to send them to leeson, and frank (the welder) will happily do it for free. Any info would be much appreciated Carl

Where Did You Get Your Nickname/username?
THE trials commentator replied to Willsey's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
my t-f name was given to me by dj,cos i always rambled utter shite when we were out riding... and most of the people i ride with call me jimmy, which was given to me by sam wheeler, cos he couldnt remember my name the first day i rode with him, come to think of it,i dont think he's realised what it actually is yet,and that was years ago! hahah King Adora were awsome! a bit of information for people who liked their music, Maxi and Nelsta of KA have formed a new band called The High Society, pretty awsome, and they play a few KA covers.people should download stuff by them,if youve never heard it before, its interesting.absolutly amazing live, reading '00 i think.didnt really like them, then saw them live and loved them Carl

right well it seems no one will own up to this proposterous crime, and now theyre switching the blame to a complete bystander,mr Nerf. I will have a chat with mr nerf to see if he knows anything more than he's letting on.And mr porter... NASA has their eye on you boy sonny boy boy. carl

right ho you lot, this is a very serious topic that we are trying to get to the bottom of.On june 3rd at the dj ride,a mysterious flying object appeared, this object has now been identified as a Granny Smith apple. The listed suspects are: James Porter, and the northern sounding lot.anyone who wishes to come forward and hand themselves in would be greatly appreciated.NASA have been in touch as they are worried that it may be a stray astronaughts lunch, and we are eagerly awaiting some kind of response from those present. nah theyre being banned cos of polution, which is wack man.by the way,the bikes featured on ebay were stolen.they belonged to stephen sword, and were stolen from the back of the van his mechanic was driving.told you they seemed a bit suspect.esecially when you consider that the motor was a factory issue and is kept by teams.when you buy an ex team bike, the top quality stuff is mainly taken off.lol Carl

hair straighteners - Nicky Clark:Hottest you can get! carl
-
lmao!non permanent ink!altho, all jokin aside, next year there is an ink coming out that is inside tiny capsules (i mean,so tiny you cant notice the difference) and apparently when you have the laser surgery it breaks the capsules down, and you sweat the ink out, whereas at the moment, laser surgery only removes up 70% of the ink,and dark inks are still quite noticable afterwards. carl
-
hahah, very true!i've started riding again you see,and i didnt want him in hospital, incase he is a bit cocoloco and has friends, and decides to come back.should of got my hair straighteners on him really...hahah.meh i haven't seen him since so i guess it did the trick. carl

my gf is a tattooist, works in nitty gritty tattoo parlour in newbury, her boss has got uv ink there, but he says it's shite, mainly cos it's clear so you cant see where youv'e tattoo'd and where you havent that well, plus it completely disappears after 2-3 years.and its almost double the price to buy apparently. im getting all my tattoo's free heheh great thing havin a tattooing gf,and a gf's boss who like you and wants to let you have free tattoo's whenever you want Carl
-
hahah i would have hit him harder, but if i'd have done too much damage there'sa chance i'd get done for assault, and that wouldn't be good!altho im not gonna be so easy on him if he does it again carl

riding my bike yesterday at some benches at a bus-stop for a good hour or so,then this one guy comes to wait for a bus,and after about 20 minutes he tries to pull me off my bike and threatens to give me a kicking cos my brake squeeks and he has a headache.i wanted to carry on riding,so i nipped home to get an adjustable spanner (you dont take chances in my village...) when i get back,i move to a bench slightly father away so as not to annoy him as much. This didn't matter,he still came over dragged me off my bike and pinned me against a wall, tried to punch me,so i ducked and twatted his knee with the wrench (cleverly concealed in my back pocket),he came at me again,so i told him if he didn't stop i'd hit him again.then he told me i was a stupid little kid....i'm 20!he was only about 30,so..anyways,i said if he asked me to go nicely i would, and that he should have asked nicely in the first place.he just tolf me to f**k off and walked away...what is it with people these days?i wasn't actually doing any harm,so why did he feel the need to be violent straight away?anyone understand? Carl
-
me and dj did it once, about three years ago on a drop gap to rail, but thats the only time we did it,and i've got a feeling it was mr wheeler who told us to do it.it was just a confidence thing, seein as though it was the first rail i'd done, lol.but i dont know of anyone else who's done it Carl

my 100cc that i had when i was racing the BYMX series lifted my dad off the ground....15stone,3rd gear from standstill... the kx500 wasnt all that great,it was quick, brakes were good (so no braking 400yards early etc, defeats the point of a motocross bike,it's ALL about the late braking) they just werent that reliable engine wise.the cr500 was THE 500cc to have, although its not made anymore.bye bye 2strokes,stupid laws...hence that being a 450f not a 500cc 2 stroke.and i'd be very suspicious if that was me,lol *pesky 4stroke laws* Carl
