  1. Bike looks f****** lush with them forks, looks hard to ride though. Go for Fatty's, i don't think i've ever heard of any snapping. Or the new ZOO!'s a mate has some and they're canny burly.
  2. My mate's brake has froze up solid lol he's really worried, i imagine if you have your pads close enough to the rim it could crack the frame with the amount of pressure on the welds and it being like that for 6-7 hours non-stop. Just a thought, bet you're all paranoid and checking your mounts now lol
  3. It's just i don't want to be spending a bomb on a Mod just to bash around on and when it breaks spend another bomb on replacing it. What rear axle does the T-Bird have?
  4. I was thinking about getting a mod bike just to mess around on as a second bike. I was looking at a Dabomb or a Mission and it had a 14mm rear axle, is this standard for MOds to have or if I break the rear hub will I have to go hunt a BMX hub? Please spare the coments of "Dabombs r pizes of sht, nt wrth da cash" Thanks in advance, Kieron
  5. I don't like them The old Tensiles looked strong whereas they look skiny and nasty, just my opinion, I'm sure they're the nuts but just look simple. Sorry lads.
  6. *Urban's or Fatty's *Wait for the new Hope hub to come out onto an Echo or Ronnie, the Onza hub will be fine for a few weeks. *Tryall tyres or Highroller in Super Tacky or Slow Reezay. 2.35 front, 2.5 rear *Koxx Bar and stem *Heatsink Blue's or Plazmatic CRM's because the pads on T-Rex's are s***e and made of hard plastic. *Tensile's or middleburns and a ISIS BB e.g Truvativ Gigapipe or FSA Plat Pro
  7. I've got one i'm selling but electric. Hobao Hyper 10, Futaba servos, prefex reciever, Greenmachine 27turn race tuned. It has a few problems like no from drive belt. SAorry I can't help you on yours. Try a model shop?
  8. Pretty fly for a white guy - Offspring
  9. My mate got some the other day and i was suprised by how little material was on them, i saw around 5mm, he runs them with a Koxx rim in a Toxsin 2.
  10. I just pull the seal from the end of the body by the ratchet and use that as its a tight fit around the pawls and it has to go back into the hub anyway so might as well use that, once its back yogether use a flat bladed screwdriver to push the seal into hub abitfurther so it ain't rubbing on the cassette body.
  11. I'm up for that too, and I know four or five others that will probably be up for it.
  12. I agree with everyone, looking good, just don't overdo the red. I reccomend Tensiles for either fixed hub or rear freewheel/hub.
  13. Sorry but aren't Platinum Pro's not £25 new, correct me if I'm wrong.
  14. I used Heatsink Red's for a day on a grind just to finish them off as my new pads had arrived and they were immense, even after riding through puddles. Heatsink blue's are the way forward though, ROB!! (notice how I did'nt write Terror Error) What are you on about, the Red's are designed for smooth rim and Blue's are designed for a grind so obviously the Reds are gunna work better on a grind but they will be dust in a few days. Go for the Blue's mate.
  15. What's this? a Newcastle ride? I fancy this.
  16. I run mine fingertight too, never done me any harm, evenwhen it did come off the cogs just moved a lil' bit and i was doing DH on the T-Rex so i don't think it needs to be too tight, as long as you make sure it's biteing on the lil' notches on the end of the cassette.
  17. GOD!! the market really has been taken over now There is also some quite nice looking shizzle there too. Purple cranks are looking
  18. I agree with him, go for the buy parts now and wait, i've just done it to my bike and its such a good idea. I wish i had more money to do it more often.

    Khe Hub

That looks a good idea but i still think my idea of runing two ratchet rings in different postitions with two sets of three pawls per a ring would work best, if you don't understand what i'm on about i will upload pics later. Kieron
  20. I build all my own wheels and charge to build my mates wheels. It's the way forward!!
  21. I might be up for a ride in the future as my Uncle owns The Cross Keys pub at Tebay and kendal ain't that far away.
  22. No, it's a 68 shell, i'm pretty sure all the Onza's are 68 shell, as for axle width 127.5 will give enough clearance for anything you want to run.
  23. Sit on here and watch all the Videos in the vids section, works for me OR get a girlfriend, also works for me, but whatever you do don't talk on loads about trials and you're away
