  1. I <3 my Heatsink snowies, they're one of the best thigns I have bought and defo the best pads I have ever bought.
  2. Wellego V12's never had a single problem with them, I do recomend over the V8's due to bearings lasting forever, check ebay for cheap pairs
  3. To answer your next question in advance, I prefer wire as I think most people will but I guess it's down to personal preference, come to think of it. Not many tyres come with Kelvar that are 2.1+ wide.
  4. Like he said^ Just its a bitch to get off. But yeh, cranks, bash (optional) and fixed cog/freewheel is needed, unless you go the the tensile bashring which is also a spider for 5 bolt compact drive, which I just so happen to prefer, personal preference I guess.
  5. Some tasty looking 24'' rims on there, if you have a wide ass frame to run them in.
  6. I would love to see the 30 second post thingy took off the search, its very very very annoying. Other than that I like the forum as it is now now so I have no major preferences.
  7. I have seen it done on a Black Mumba which is basically a Python but it was very very very very very very close, not worth it in my opinion because if you get a slight buckle, your day is over, also I think it rubbed if he kicked hard due to wheel flex. As sexy as wide tyres are, they are not very practical at all.
  8. Great Idea for a thread, it's gunna be interesting to see what people put, my furthest back memory of riding has to be raceline maggie, everyone had em.
  9. That Bottom bracket is it? I found my old style Echo one to be very very tight.
  10. It is a proven fact that water does not damage the insides of maguras in short term (two or three years) so that won't be the problem unless your brake is ancient. I say, regrind rim (preferably get someone with a working back brake to grind it incase YOU are the problem. Then rebleed brake in bath, with no air inside. Remember to ensure the TPA is all the way off, clean pads and sandpaper until they are clean/got no old rubber showing on the face. Set brake up/pump tyre up etc. Go ride! Then report with a new problem that your chain has snapped or whatever
  11. A Middleburn bashring will only fit Middleburn cranks or I think, the old XTR cranks, thats if it's a centre spline system. Just a word of warning but Yeh, basically everything on Tarty minus the Burns have scren on freewheel/cog/bash system, it's like, the standard in trials these days.
  12. Search, theres anothet topic with places, I think its ukbikesport.co.uk sells the 203 ones at 62 and the 160 ones cheaper, anyway, yeh, search or look for the other BB7 topic.
  13. Tarty or Fat Mike will do the swap for you I believe... EDIT: I mean the swap of internals, not swapping shells.
  14. Ebay usually has some? Try wiggle perhaphs?
  15. I went from stock to 24 and found the bike alot easier to ride and got me into trials again in a new way, I don't like the idea of mod as I'm 6, 5 and think i'd look rediculous so.. I advise, give it a try, you may well like it, I do taps and sidehops on mine fine, the geo o the zoot is very UCI compared to say, Curtis T24 etc, if you were to buy a second hand one you wouldn't be loosing out on much cash either if you decided to sell on after not liking it... hin hint, BUY MINE. But yeah, its nice if your indecicive or cant get on with either stock or mod..
  16. I believe the threads are 12mm, the bit with no thread is 9 and the head is roughly 15. May I know why you need to know this, a project perhaphs?
  17. Why are you all trying to pick faults, basically. The new T-Comp is the T-Pro from last year but with better freewheel and forks The new T-Pro is the T-Bird from last year but with better cranks and so on The T-Bird is not better that the T-Pro because it has a disc brake! Onza have kept a very cheap of the shelf trials bike cheap and have specced it better than last year, I really can't see why you are all complaining. Mike, Does the new T-Pro frame have 4 bolt mounts with adaptors to fit the vee or just vee mounts?
  18. I might just do that, also Ali, why does your profile now say ''have their tyres gummed'' it was better knifed
  19. My parents won't buy me any bike related stuff for christmas, as for money wise, I try to spend as little on bikes as possible so nah, nothing really, maybe a new set of pads or something..
  20. Could you also run a Dx style lever like this one if it was set in a low setting?
  21. Is it worth buying over a Pro 2 Trials for stock? I don't intend on buying anything, just be interesting to see peoples opinions who have owned/own both.
  22. You have said Hope headset when I am nealry 100% sure they don't do an integrated headset.... I may need correcting though..
  23. If you have the cash then SKF 600 bb, either lifetime or 10 year warrenty, so it will be the last one you buy (unless yours gets stolen or you need 2 for some homosexual reason)
  24. Surely you could run it, just the bite point would be further on the lever? couldn't you just settle this by backing the pads off fully, or am I missing the ENTIRE problem...
