  1. Bit of an upgrade from your bike in Newquay! Nice one. I like that!
  2. Guessing you measured the wheelbase on the mods with Onza forks? - straight blade ones? I really like the Ice, but I'd want it around Zona Zip sorta length... oh, and with a disc mount.
  3. Deng Day's would be good though... Has more of a ring to it?
  4. What would be the benefit of two cables through the headtube?
  5. I was expecting a whole new look to the frame... But it still looks awesome! Some really good ideas put into that. Well done!
  6. I don't think he means the hydroforming is an original Onza design, just the general shape/everything else the frame has?
  7. I'm petty much exactly the same. Been riding about 4years, and I still find it hard to push myself. I'm slowly progressing, and I enjoy riding, which is the main thing? I just play about on small things, finding as many lines on it as possible. (24" rider at heart... ) But yeah, I've started going bigger recently, mostly on things where it just seems fine to do, no worries.
  8. What would be the point in getting it airbrushed just one colour? Looks good Bessell, nice one.
  9. I love my cable brakes... I hate spending ages cleaning my front disc up, then go out riding thinking it's awesome, then having my mate come along with a 203mm Avid Juicy 5 on his T-Pro. - Immense stopping power. I hate it when it rains, because none of my back brakes have ever worked in the wet, even with grinds. Also hate it when my brake goes quiet, really lowers my confidence for stuff, but in contrast, I like it when my brake is loud, but when people tell me I should oil it, or 'take it back' or whatever. Errrm...can't really think of any more?
  10. Cut the pad material so it says 'PLAZ' or something?
  11. It depends on how the brake is set up - pads, lever, cables, etc. But yeah, Ultimate's are awesome.
  12. I'm sure dyslexic people can still spell 'Are' and 'you'.
  13. I got Edd to make me some adapters for my Zona, and the only problem I had with them, was that the Vee mount sat too low down for my frame. So I had to have an extra link in my frame, and have the wheel at the end of the dropouts... So I bought some aluminium, and started measuring out my new adapters. The desgin Edd made, has the Vee mount threaded the whole way through, then it is held on by a short M6 bolt at the bottom. So with my new design with the Vee mount higher up, this bolt head got in the way of the bolt for the bottom Magura adapter. So instead of a bolt, I cut up a nail, and put that in the whole for the bottom Magura mount, so it just sits inside the mount stopping the adapter from pivoting. Then the top bolt holds it all down. It works fine, although the aluminium I used was a bit thin, so it bends a little bit...
  14. Avid BB7 on the front, and an Avid Ultimate on the back.
  15. Not really any help to the Dengura users now is it... I had a look inside my mates Dengura lever body earlier, but it all looked ok inside? He's resorted to a HS11 lever, and Dengura cylinders... Works alright...
  16. So how old is he exactly? Happy birthday anyway!
  17. Keele services on the way back from Manchester, loads of concrete blocks and a few pallets. Looked fun for gaps and things... Guess where I went today.
  18. Yeah, but you're only saying that because you made the bash. Don't get me wrong, the bash looks awesome. Just saying it's a bit 'newskool' compared to everything else on the bike (apart from the bars.) Oh, instead of zip ties, just wrap the hose around the toptube? I used to do it on my Zona when i ran outa zip ties..
  19. That's possibly the ugliest looking trials bike i've ever seen...?
  20. Was going through my PS2 games the other night, and found some ones for online gaming, so I decided to set my network adapter up again. My set up: Netgear DG384 wireless router. Netgear WGE111 wireless game adapter. PS2 ethernet adapter thing. AOL... Vista PC. Had it working like, last year sometime, and had to set it all up again as the game adapter reset itself. Usually, to set the game adapter up to the network, you plug it into the router with the ethernet cable, run though the configuration assistant, and it sorts it out for the network. Then you type the IP for it (192.168.0.202) in IE/FF, and then configure it there. But i'm having no luck with that. On the configuration assistant, it finds the adapter, then starts searching for the wireless network, and then the progress bar gets right near the end, then freezes, then a box comes up saying 'Network error !' then that's it. Tried ringing Netgear support, and after 20minutes of talking to some aisian guy, I got put through to their 'senior technician' who thought I couldn't get my PC online. Then after telling him that was fine, he wondered why I was ringing them!? So I hung up. Useless. I tried configuring the game adapter to the network with the CA, after the 'Network error !' it has a 'next' option, so I chose that and put in my network settings. Now it's linked up to the PS2, and i've got the Network Access Disk in, and trying to configure it. The AOL sign in information is all correct (username and password) and it automatically detected the settings: PPPoE and Auto everything else.. Then when it does the diagnostic it says: 'Couldn't connect to a PPPoE server' Spent ages looking through pages on Google, but none of those pages match my problem.
  21. I don't wanna change my username.. and I just can't be bothered to change my avatar.
  22. Bars and heatsink bash are too new for that! Really like it though! nice one.
