Where the cable would normally run through to hold the mech aline, people put a spoke in there. Not sure why they don't just have a bit of cable in there though.

You can run whatever ratio you want, as long as you have a tensioner on there. No need to change frames just because you've got one less tooth on your drivechain.

So it has actually warped. If your caliper is all align with the rotor when you first put it in, then I have no idea. Does look like the caliper was sat at an angle though, which bent it across?

How is the caliper set up? On BB7s, the rotor should just be brushing the inside pad (one that doesn't move) so you get a more solid feeling on the lever. If you've had it brushing the moving pad, then the brake would've been bending the rotor over to the other pad every time you've pulled the brake. Try leaving it on a flat surface under something heavy overnight (big book, etc) and see if it straightens out. Then set your caliper up so the rotor sits right next to the inside pad.

But it's traditional for you to make a video each year! haha. Actually can't wait for this. My bike should be sorted for it, with working brakes and tyres and everything! So I might even ride a bit this year.

Crouch in, then throw yourself and the bike upwards, much like you would in a wheelswap. Bring the bacwheel up, then blam it onto the wall, and prey that you've done it right. Takes some practice, but you'll get there.

That's a front to back. Wheelswapping for me: Get the front wheel up on the wall, and try to balance. Have your good foot facing outwards so you can get close to the wall. I stand up straight, then crouch in, and throw my body weight upwards, bringing the bike with me. Then make sure the backwheel gets on the wall... Kinda hard to explain? A.K.A: Pigeon...
