I've always liked my Etnies for riding in. Soft on the bottom, so you can feel the pedals, and get more grip. REALLY comfy too! Mine wore out aages ago, and I'm still wearing them now! Also had some DVS' which were nice aswell... I prefer 'skate shoes' over trials pixie boots. One of my mates got some Ribos, and I tried them on and rode for a bit. They're too tight and feel weird? They were the right size for me too...

I've only felt the old ones, and still have mine on the front. It's stupidly good, although it is a 203mm on a mod.

Just use a 74Kingz style tensioner, then you don't need the hangar? If it snaps off, it doesn't matter. I quite like the frame, orange is niiice! Think it needs a seat though, don't you think? When I first saw it, I just figured it was another super-clearance frame, then I noticed the chain too. That Onza prototype's purpose was to not split the chain, but that was horrible looking.

I didn't like the look of it in the video, but it actually looks quite nice in that picture! Just noticed that the chain is above the chainstays! It's that low!

I don't think I'll be out now, hopefully getting the rest of the parts for the Mini so I'll be working on that instead. Tris - Did you message me/i message you last night? I'd just got back from the pub...so I don't really remember... :$

Of course they will be. It probably costs them pennies to make a barrel of the syrup mixes that pubs use... Plus this is only at selected pubs, so they'll still profit from the other shops, etc that buy their products. Remember that Coca Cola are more than just Coke, and Diet Coke... Oh hang on, are you on about Coca Cola, or the pubs? haha. Either way, I think they'll still profit from it, more customers coming in for the deal, possible more regulars...etc?

That's true about the competitions. I started this years curb/kerb competition, and only had one person PM me their video! A few people said they would do it, including me, but no one really bothered. I know I'm also guilty for that, but meh... I don't think we should have to spice up the forum with awards and things to make it more active. It's active every day! I like the idea though, it would be a lot more fun than what it is now... Circus for 'The best quote award' EDIT: I've just noticed, we're all moaning about how members can't hold a decent conversation... we've managed to get this thread into multiple pages without even a hint of it getting closed!

Saying that, why don't we get a few more admins? Two or so monderators could get promoted?

I don't like the name changes either. Some of the celebrity ones were funny, like JonMack being 'Mark King' and having kids message him saying stuff like 'My dad wants to know if you're the real Mark King!?' haha. Apologies for my useless drunken post on page one... Anyway, Now you mention it, I see myself as a bit of a lurker. I usually come straight into Chit-Chat, see what's going on there, occasionaly get the jist of whatever the joke is, and join in to have a laugh. Most of the time though, like Tom said, there's so many brutal replies getting thrown about because of the littlist thing! It's getting stupid. I agree with the whole 'bandwagon' thing. Especially in NMC by the looks of it. For example, in a topic about his Magura flexing his frame, a couple of people tell him to get a booster, which will solve his problem, but more and more new members come into the thread just to post things like 'yeah, get a booster mate' What help is that when he's already been told that 5 times over? Same with the arguements aswell, one person will comment on bad grammar or spelling, so everyone else does. They're a flock of sheep without a good hersdman. From time-to-time I'll have a look in Trials-Chat, and try my best to help people out with bike problems, seeing as there we can have a fairly decent topic without all the bad spelling and repeated posts for several pages. Oh, Would it be possible to make a sub-forum below chit-chat for all the locked threads? I've seen it on another forum and it was pretty interesting to read through. It helps you understand what you can/can't do/say on the forum, and also lets you keep track of funny topics that got closed...
